Beomgyu, known for his playful and youthful spirit, often joked about how the idea of being around children made him uncomfortable. The responsibility and the need for a mature demeanor were far from his usual carefree attitude. Yet, there he was, in his girlfriend's family home, helping her take care of her baby cousin. The other members of TXT were also present, making the atmosphere lively and filled with laughter.

"Beomgyu, can you hold him for a minute? I need to help my mom in the kitchen," his girlfriend, Y/N, asked, her eyes pleading.

He hesitated for a moment but then nodded, taking the fussy baby into his arms. The child, initially grouchy and restless, began to calm down as Beomgyu awkwardly bounced him. The other TXT members watched, amused by the sight.

"Who knew you had a hidden talent for this?" Soobin chuckled, leaning against the doorframe.

Beomgyu shot him a playful glare. "Don't jinx it," he replied, his attention still on the baby.

Yeonjun joined in, "You look like a natural, Beomgyu. Maybe you should consider a career in babysitting."

The room filled with laughter, but Beomgyu couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. He didn't want to admit it, but he was afraid of doing something wrong. Sensing his discomfort, Huening Kai offered some advice. "Just be gentle and keep him entertained. Babies love attention."

Following Huening Kai's advice, Beomgyu started humming a soft melody. To everyone's surprise, the baby's eyes lit up, and he began to coo happily. Y/N returned to the room and paused, watching the scene with a warm smile.

"Looks like you're doing great," she said softly, approaching Beomgyu. "He really likes your singing."

Encouraged by her words, Beomgyu's confidence grew. He continued to hum, slowly transitioning into a soft song. The baby, completely enthralled, listened with wide eyes.

Taehyun, who had been quietly observing, joined the conversation. "You have a magical touch, Beomgyu. I never would've guessed."

As the evening went on, Beomgyu found himself enjoying the time with the baby. His initial reluctance faded, replaced by a sense of pride and accomplishment. He began to interact more with the child, making funny faces and gentle tickles, which brought giggles from the little one.

Y/N watched them, her heart swelling with affection. "You're amazing, Beomgyu. I didn't expect you to be so good at this."

Beomgyu looked up at her, a soft smile on his face. "I guess I'm full of surprises," he said, his voice filled with a newfound warmth.

The rest of the evening passed with ease. The members of TXT joined in, playing with the baby and making the atmosphere even more joyful. Beomgyu, now completely at ease, showed a side of him that was both caring and nurturing.

As the night drew to a close, Y/N's cousin fell asleep in Beomgyu's arms. The room was quiet, with only the soft breathing of the sleeping child. Y/N leaned against Beomgyu, her head resting on his shoulder.

"Thank you," she whispered. "For everything."

Beomgyu wrapped his arm around her, careful not to disturb the baby. "It was my pleasure. I guess I'm not as bad with kids as I thought."

They shared a quiet moment, the warmth of the family home enveloping them. It was a night of discoveries and unexpected joys, a memory that would stay with them for a long time.
