The sound of laughter echoed down the hallway as Yeonjun leaned against his locker, flashing a smirk at the group of girls huddled nearby. His charming grin had them giggling and whispering amongst themselves. Yeonjun knew the effect he had on people—especially girls—and he played into it shamelessly.

"Yeonjun, you're at it again, huh?" Soobin, adjusting his glasses, walked over with a book clutched to his chest. His tone was teasing, but there was a hint of exasperation in it.

Yeonjun shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "What can I say? They can't resist me."

"Man, you need to cool it," Taehyun said, joining the group. He was fresh from the gym, wiping sweat from his forehead with a towel. "One day, someone's gonna come along and actually catch your attention, and then you'll be the one left spinning."

"Not a chance," Yeonjun laughed, his confidence oozing. "I'm too smooth for that. Besides, why would I bother with that Love Alarm nonsense? I don't need an app to tell me if someone likes me."

"Yeonjun," Beomgyu chimed in, strolling up with a playful grin on his face. "You're just scared you'd ring someone else's Love Alarm and they'd ignore you. You know, like the time that girl—what was her name?—totally walked past you."

"That was one time!" Yeonjun protested, though he couldn't help but chuckle at the memory. "And she was probably just playing hard to get."

Hueningkai, the quietest of the group, chuckled softly. "Maybe she's just not interested in players."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes but didn't respond, knowing better than to argue with Hueningkai, who had a way of making even the most confident person doubt themselves.

Meanwhile, Y/N was walking down the corridor, her shoulders slumped slightly. Her Love Alarm app was open on her phone, but as usual, there were no matches. She glanced around at her friends, who were all happily chatting away with their own matches. Jisoo, one of her closest friends, had even matched with Beomgyu, and the two were practically inseparable now.

"Y/N, you okay?" Jisoo asked, noticing her friend's distant expression.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Y/N replied with a forced smile. "Just... wondering when my turn will come, I guess."

Jisoo's face softened. "Don't worry, Y/N. Your match is out there. It's just a matter of time."

"Right," Y/N said, though she didn't sound convinced. Deep down, she couldn't help but feel that maybe she would never match with anyone. Who would ever be interested in someone like her? She was curvy, chubby, and didn't fit the stereotypical image of beauty. "Who would like someone who's... well, you know, fat," she muttered under her breath, though Jisoo caught it.

"Don't say that," Jisoo said firmly, grabbing Y/N's hand. "You're beautiful, Y/N. And if some guy can't see that, then he's not worth your time."

Y/N nodded, though her heart wasn't in it. She appreciated Jisoo's support, but the doubts still lingered.

Back with Yeonjun and his friends, the conversation had shifted to the topic of Love Alarm once again.

"So, when are you getting Love Alarm, Yeonjun?" Beomgyu asked, his grin mischievous.

"Never," Yeonjun replied confidently. "I don't need it."

"Come on, man, don't be a coward," Beomgyu teased, poking him in the ribs. "What are you afraid of? That it might go off when you least expect it?"

"Not gonna happen," Yeonjun said, rolling his eyes. "I'm not interested in settling down like you guys. Besides, I don't want some app telling me how I feel."
