The air was thick with panic as Y/N sprinted through the crowded streets of London, the sound of alien screeches echoing behind her. "Faster!" Hueningkai shouted over his shoulder, glancing back to make sure Y/N was keeping up. He had that wild, adventurous glint in his eyes—an excitement that both terrified and thrilled Y/N.

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Y/N huffed, dodging a toppled street sign. Behind them, the huge green Slytheens were lumbering forward, crashing through anything in their path. There was a group of them—far too many for comfort, and all looking angrier than ever.

"You sure know how to pick a spot for a picnic!" Y/N yelled as she ducked, narrowly avoiding a clawed hand swiping toward her.

Hueningkai grinned, barely out of breath. "Adventure isn't adventure without a little danger, right?" His tone was light and playful, despite the chaos around them. He clearly loved this—the running, the fear, the thrill of a chase.

Y/N couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Remind me to argue with you about this later," she muttered. And then she saw it—a jar of pickled onions on a vendor's table. Without hesitation, she grabbed it.

"Uh, now's not really the time for a snack!" Hueningkai joked, slowing down to see what Y/N was doing.

"Oh, this isn't a snack," she said with a wicked grin. "This is a weapon." She quickly twisted off the cap and, with a battle cry that surprised even her, hurled the jar at the Slytheens. The glass shattered, sending pickled onions and juice flying everywhere, splattering all over the aliens.

Hueningkai's eyes widened. "Brilliant! You brilliant, brilliant human!"

One of the Slytheens let out a loud, rumbling fart—a horrifying, grotesque sound that Y/N couldn't help but laugh at. And then—BOOM!—it exploded into a mess of green goo.

"Ha! I didn't think that would work!" Y/N whooped, jumping up and down in excitement.

"Pickled onions!" Hueningkai laughed as they started running again. "Who knew?"

"Apparently, I did," Y/N said smugly, tossing her hair back dramatically as they kept running.

Unfortunately, that just seemed to enrage the remaining Slytheens. Their waddling grew more aggressive, the flabby creatures charging toward them like angry green blimps.

"Uh, any more jars lying around, genius?" Hueningkai asked as he dodged another claw.

Y/N glanced around frantically, but it seemed that their luck had run out. "Nope, just me, you, and a bunch of angry aliens!" she yelled back.

"Then let's make a run for it!" Hueningkai grabbed her hand and pulled her down a narrow alley. At the end of the alley stood the TARDIS—the big, blue box that Y/N was slowly starting to love more than her own apartment. "Come on!"

"Just a little farther!" Hueningkai called, pulling Y/N along. They could practically feel the heat of the Slytheens on their necks, and then—another loud fart, another explosion.

"Ugh, that smell!" Y/N grimaced as they sprinted forward, and Hueningkai let out a bark of laughter. "If we survive this, I'm never eating pickles again!"

"Promise?" Hueningkai teased as they finally reached the TARDIS door. He fumbled with the key, finally managing to get it in the lock. The door swung open, and they practically tumbled inside.

Y/N slammed the door shut behind her, breathing heavily. "Please tell me they can't get in here," she said, leaning against the cool wood of the door.

"They can't. They absolutely can't." Hueningkai turned to her, his face flushed with adrenaline, his eyes shining like stars. And before she knew what was happening, he had swept her off her feet, literally picking her up and spinning her around.

"You're amazing!" he said, planting a quick, excited kiss on her lips.

Y/N blinked, stunned into silence. Her heart raced, not from fear this time, but from the pure energy radiating off of him. "Did you just kiss me?" she whispered, half-laughing.

"Uh, yeah!" Hueningkai bounced on his feet like an excited puppy. "I mean, I hope that's okay? Sorry, I got caught up in the moment. It's just—I haven't had a companion in so long, and you were just... well, brilliant out there."

Y/N shook her head, smiling. "Yeah, it's okay," she said softly. "I just wasn't expecting it, that's all." And in that moment, she realized how cute he really was—how infectious his energy was, how his smile made her forget about all the alien chaos they'd just barely survived.

Hueningkai, in his usual fashion, immediately turned back to the TARDIS console, flipping switches and pressing buttons. "Now, where do you want to go?" he asked, his fingers dancing across the controls. "The stars? A whole different planet? Forward in time, backward in time? Just say the word!"

Y/N stepped up beside him, leaning over the console to take in all the spinning dials and glowing screens. "Anywhere?" she asked, looking up at him with wide eyes.

"Anywhere and everywhere!" Hueningkai said, his grin so wide it was almost impossible not to smile back. "The universe is huge, and it's all ours! And I can't wait to show you all of it!"

Y/N chuckled softly. "You're like a kid who's been handed the keys to a candy store, you know that?"

"More like the keys to the universe," Hueningkai corrected with a wink. "And you're coming with me." He flicked a lever, and the TARDIS gave a familiar, wheezing groan as it started to move.

The room vibrated beneath their feet, and Y/N felt her stomach do a little flip. "So, where are we going?" she asked, gripping the edge of the console for balance.

Hueningkai tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I could take you to see the moonlight markets of Zanthar—they've got the best hot chocolate in the galaxy. Or, oh, there's this little planet made entirely of diamonds... You'll need sunglasses, though."

Y/N's eyes twinkled with excitement. "I don't care where we go. I trust you."

"Trust me?" Hueningkai echoed, looking at her with a curious smile. "You hardly know me."

"True," Y/N agreed, "but I know enough. You've saved me from an alien invasion, kissed me out of nowhere, and, well, look at you. You're adorable."

"Adorable?" Hueningkai's cheeks flushed a soft pink. "I—I don't know if that's what a Time Lord's supposed to be... but I'll take it."

"Well, you're my Time Lord," Y/N said with a grin, and his blush deepened even more.

He looked like he could burst with happiness. "Your Time Lord..." he repeated softly, like he was savoring the words. And then, unable to contain himself, he broke into another laugh, spinning around the TARDIS console, pressing buttons like he was playing an instrument.

Y/N laughed along with him, letting herself get lost in his joy, the sound of the TARDIS, and the thrill of not knowing what was coming next. "Just... don't crash this thing, okay?" she teased.

"Crash? Never!" Hueningkai said with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Well, almost never. But that's part of the fun!" He waggled his eyebrows dramatically. "Buckle up, Y/N. The universe is a big place, and we've got a lot of running to do."

"Running?" Y/N groaned playfully. "Can't we ever just walk?"

"Oh, where's the fun in that?" Hueningkai teased as he pulled a lever, and the TARDIS shook as if it were leaping through the sky.

Y/N gripped his arm, steadying herself, and looked up at him. He was all wide eyes and big smiles, practically glowing with excitement and wonder. And she knew right then, in that moment, that wherever they were going, she couldn't wait to get there.

"Alright, Time Lord," she said, matching his grin with one of her own. "Show me the stars."
