The clang of metal footsteps echoed loudly down the museum corridor as Yeonjun's breath hitched. He gripped Y/N's hand tightly, pulling her along as they sprinted through the dimly lit hallways. The Dalek was relentless, and the bodies of five innocent people they had passed only reminded him how high the stakes were. He could afford to be reckless; as a Time Lord, regeneration meant he had more lives than he cared to count. But Y/N... Y/N was only human, a fragile mortal life that could be snuffed out in an instant. He would not let her be the sixth. He could not.

"Just a little further!" Yeonjun's voice was frantic but firm as they dashed through the corridors, his other companions—Beomgyu, Soobin, Taehyun, and Hueningkai—just a few strides ahead. "Come on, Y/N, you've got this!"

Y/N's breaths were ragged, her legs screaming in protest as she struggled to keep up with Yeonjun's relentless pace. She stumbled, nearly slipping from his grasp.

"Yeonjun..." Y/N gasped, feeling exhaustion claw at her limbs. "I-I can't—"

"You can," Yeonjun interrupted, his tone desperate yet encouraging. "Please, for me. You're almost there."

They could see it now, the TARDIS in the distance. Glowing and reassuring, like a beacon of hope amidst the chaos. It was just a few more steps—

"EXTERMINATE!"

The familiar, menacing cry of the Dalek echoed behind them, and Yeonjun's heart lurched. He heard the unmistakable sound of the Dalek's blaster firing, saw a flash of light, and in an instant, everything blurred into a frenzied rush.
Yeonjun yanked Y/N through the doors of the TARDIS, practically throwing her inside before collapsing beside her. The doors slammed shut behind them, the thick, heavy thud ringing through the silence. For a moment, everything was eerily still, the only sounds being the heavy breathing of the group as they recovered from their escape.

"Are you guys okay?" Beomgyu was the first to break the silence, his voice breathy but light, trying to bring some relief to the tension that hung in the air. "Did you see how close that was? Man, that Dalek nearly—"

"Yeah, we're fine," Yeonjun cut him off, his voice steadier than his shaking hands. He looked down at Y/N, cradling her gently. "We're both fine."

Y/N tried to smile up at him, to say she was alright, but something was off. She felt strange, heavy, like her body wasn't quite her own. Beomgyu, Soobin, Taehyun, and Hueningkai exchanged glances and exhaled deeply, laughing out of sheer relief.

"That was a close one," Soobin said, running a hand through his sweat-matted hair. "Too close."

"Never doubted Yeonjun for a second," Taehyun added with a wry smile. "Always gets us out in the nick of time."

Hueningkai grinned as well, his face bright despite the lingering fear. "You really do make it look easy, Yeonjun."

Yeonjun forced a smile at their teasing, but he couldn't let go of Y/N. Something felt wrong, but he pushed the feeling aside. They were safe now; they had made it to the TARDIS. Everything was going to be okay... wasn't it?

Suddenly, Y/N flinched, her face contorting with pain. She clutched her side, fingers pressing against something warm and sticky.

"Y/N?" Yeonjun's voice wavered, his eyes widening in fear as he felt her body slump against his. "Y/N, what's wrong?"

Y/N's breaths grew shallow, and she tried to sit up, but the pain only intensified, radiating through her body. "I-I don't know... I—"

Hueningkai's eyes flickered down to Y/N's side, and he let out a startled gasp. "Yeonjun, she's... she's bleeding."
