CHLOE

It's been a week since Lueese and Jeric passed away. I still managed to attend school dahil patapos na ang school year. Good thing naihabol ko 'yung mga na-missed ko no'ng almost 2 months akong wala.

I was walking through the pathway with Renz when I saw Kyra and Chescka. Kyra suddenly give me a hug.

"We love you, girl." She said.

I gave her a smile and thanked her. Chescka also thanked me for saving her life. Muntik na raw siyang sumunod na biktima kung nagpagabi siya ng uwi no'ng araw ng pagkamatay nina Jeric at Lueese.

"Good to hear na okay ka, Chescka." I said.

"I am thankful for you, guys." She said.

"Basta always remember na I'm just here. Maybe we have misunderstanding before but the important thing right now is, we're friends na." Kyra said and huggedme again. I also gave her a tight hug.

I said good bye to them na at pumunta sa Architecture building.

"You're making a progress na, love." He said.

"Thank you for helping me." I smiled at him.

"Always," he said. Sabay kaming pumasok ng room.

"Kamusta na?" Jamiek asked me. I just replied 'I'm okay' even though I am not.

"We're just here, Chloe." He said. I just gave him a nod.

After the class, dumeretso kami ng mga kaibigan ko sa office ng SL Officers. Dito kami napapadalas ngayon tumambay kasi may aircon.

"Kamusta kayo?" Caleb asked us.

"I would be lyin' if I say I'm okay." Hazel said and painfully smiled.

"I'm making a little progress." Mikayla proudly said.

"Theraphy session ba 'to, Caleb?" Tanong ni Jarenn sa kaniya.

"'Di ba pwedeng concerned lang?" Caleb asked him back.

"Grabe si Jeric. Pinanindigan na gusto niyang makasama si Lueese." Renzo said.

"Mahal ka namin, Jeric." Sabi ni Caleb at tumingin sa langit.

"Please, be safe. 'Di ko na kakayanin the next time na masundan 'yon." I said.

"Me neither," Hazel said.

"Ako rin. Mag-ingat kayo, guys." Mikayla said.

"Jian!"

Narinig ko ang boses ni Jamiel. Lahat kami'y napa-lingon do'n. Mukhang nag-aaway sina Jamiel at Jian.

"Oh, come on, Jamiel. Ayan si Chloe, oh. Tell her everything." Jian said and pointed me.

Ano'ng ginawa ko? "Anong meron?" I asked.

"'Wag ka ngang magmaang-maangan. Alam mo b'ang boyfriend ko si Jamiel?"

"Ex. Jian, we're done. Ilang years na." Jamiel said.

"Bakit? Dahil may gusto ka pa rin kay Chloe, 'di ba? Admit it!" Jian said.

"Oo! May gusto pa rin ako sa kaniya. Masaya ka na?!" Jamiel said.

"Could you please talk to each other and deal that issue all by yourselves?" Sabi ni Renzo. "Stop bragging her name."

"Wow. Sobrang saya mo siguro, Chloe? Protektado ka ng dalawang lalaki, oh. Is this what you want?" She said.

"Alam mo, Jian, wala akong pakialam sa kung ano'ng meron sa inyo ni Jamiel. 'Wag niyo 'kong idamay diyan." I said.

"Best actress," Jian scoffed and clapped her hands. "You're the reason why Jamiel broke up with me." She said.

"But that's not my problem." I said.

"Arjian, I said stop." Kalmadong sabi ni Renzo.

"Okay, what now?" Jian scoffed. Nagulat ako nang bigla siyang maglabas ng baril at itinutok sa 'kin.

"Arjian!" Suway ni Renzo at humarang sa 'kin para 'di ako matamaan kung sakaling i-pull ni Jian ang trigger ng baril. "You will be punished."

"It's okay, kung mawawala naman 'yang babaeng pinoprotektahan mo." She said.

I watch closely how she pull the trigger. I closed my eyes when I heard a loud noise. No... Renzo.

I looked at Renzo and found that he was okay. Nang tumingin ako sa harap. Nakita ko si Jamiel na naka-bulagta sa sahig.

"No... No, Jamiel." Jian put down the gun and run to Jamiel. "This is your fault!" She said as she cried. "Jamiel, no!"

She was about to get the gun again nang may humampas sa likod niya. I saw a man wearing a black hoodie, black mask and black cap. Nawalan ng malay si Jian dahil do'n.

"Thank you," I said. "Who are you?" I asked him.

He removed his cap. The next moment, I was completely stunned and frozen. I saw him. I saw Chris...

"Chris," Hazel said and ran to him. She hugged him tightly. "How?" She asked him.

"I--" he was cut off when someone entered the room.

"Dude, what the fuck happened?" Kyra asked.

She was stunned when she saw Chris. "Christian, buhay ka..."

"I am," he said.

"Paano?" Caleb asked.

"Mamaya ko na ik-kwento sa inyo. Kailangang magamot nito." He said, pertaining to Jamiel.

Nagtulungan sina Jarenn at Caleb na buhatin si Jamiel papunta sa ambulansyang tinawagan ni Chescka. Si Renzo naman ay tumawag ng pulis para maaresto si Jian.

"Ano'ng nangyari kay Jamiel?" Kyra asked.

I told her everything. She looked shocked too.

"They're exes? What a simp." She said. "You know, buti na lang safe kayo." She said.

"Concerned ka na sa 'min ngayon?" Mikayla asked.

"Asa ka," sabi ni Kyra as she rolled her eyes. "Oo... concerned ako sa inyo."

Natigilan kami nang biglang bumangon si Jian. "Nasa'n si Jamiel?" She asked.

"You're a fucking brat, Chloe." She added.

"You are, honey. How desperate." Chescka said. "H'wag kang mandadamay ng iba 'pag ayaw sa 'yo ng lalaki."

"How dare you, Franchescka?"

"Just telling the truth." Chescka said. "Have you seen yourself, Arjian? Pinipilit mo 'yung sarili mo sa lalaking hindi ka naman gusto."
