Mamoru's mind whirled with confusion as he followed the speaking feline, still reeling from the surreal turn of events. Clad in an unexpected luxurious suit and tie, he couldn't shake the feeling of disbelief that accompanied each step he took.

"The Queen will be delighted to see you," the feline exclaimed cheerfully, its tail swishing with excitement. "And I know the princess too."

"Wait, wait, wait," Mamoru interjected, coming to a sudden halt. He turned to face the feline, his expression a mixture of bewilderment and apprehension. "If you don't mind me asking, what's going on?"

The feline regarded him with wise eyes, its gaze filled with a sense of purpose. "You have been chosen, young man," it replied cryptically. "Chosen to serve as a guardian to the princess and fulfill a destiny greater than you could ever imagine."

Mamoru's brow furrowed in confusion, his mind struggling to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "But why me?" he questioned, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

The feline's response was simple yet enigmatic. "Because you possess the qualities needed to protect and guide the princess," it explained. "Compassion, courage, and a pure heart – these are the traits that make you worthy of this noble task."

"I still don't get it," Mamoru said, his confusion evident in his furrowed brow. "But in this small village, where exactly is that princess in question?"

"She lives in the moon," the feline replied matter-of-factly.

Mamoru's eyes widened in disbelief, a bemused expression crossing his features. "Oh goodness gracious, I must have been sick," he muttered in response, unable to comprehend the fantastical nature of the situation.

The feline offered a reassuring smile, its eyes filled with understanding. "You'll get used to it, soon," it assured Mamoru, its tone imbued with a sense of confidence in the young man's ability to adapt to his new reality.

"The rabbit on the moon munches rice cake," the feline said cryptically as a shimmering portal materialized before them, its iridescent glow casting a surreal light upon the surrounding landscape.

Mamoru's eyes widened in astonishment as he took a hesitant step back, his mind racing with disbelief at the sight before him.

"W-What is this?" he stammered, his voice tinged with uncertainty as he glanced nervously at the enigmatic portal.

But the feline offered a reassuring smile, its tail swishing with anticipation. "Don't worry, it's just a portal from here to the moon," it explained calmly, its voice filled with confidence.

With a bold leap, the feline bounded through the portal, disappearing into its shimmering depths. Curiosity piqued, Mamoru hesitated for only a moment before summoning his courage and following suit, his heart pounding with excitement as he stepped into the unknown.

As Mamoru stepped through the portal, fear clenched at his heart, uncertainty clouding his mind as he ventured into the unknown. The sensation of weightlessness surrounded him, disorienting and unsettling, as he braced himself for whatever awaited on the other side.

But as he emerged from the portal, a kaleidoscope of colors greeted him, dazzling his senses and filling him with awe. The vibrant hues swirled around him as he fell, the rush of wind whipping past his face, and in that moment, fear melted away, replaced by a sense of wonder and exhilaration.

A smile spread across Mamoru's face as he surrendered to the joy of the moment, the thrill of the unknown filling him with a newfound sense of excitement. Despite the uncertainty that lay ahead, he felt a surge of anticipation coursing through his veins, eager to explore this new and fantastical world that awaited him.
