Ship: Jeongin X Straykids
Triggers/Warnings: for now, none---------------------------------
We hopefully will see how this all develops and if the seven boys are keeping the little fox hybrid or not.
midnight, 01:15 a.m.
In the middle of the night, the little fox woke up and cried. He cried and in order not to wake the friendly young mens, he looked around the room and looked for somewhere to hide so that they wouldn't wake up, but he found nothing and simply put his paws over his face in the hope that this would muffle his crying. But when exactly fifteen minutes later a light came on in the room he was lying in, he took them down again and looked at the source of the light, there stood none other than the seven nice young mens.
They walked straight towards him and sat down, so the little fox sat down on one of the boys lap and continued to cry. "Channie... he's crying..." said the boy on whose lap the fox was now. The boy nodded until he remembered the collar, he stood up and went towards his boyfriend, who had the little fox on his lap. He stroked him and then he turned his head towards him again. It broke the boys' hearts to hear the little fennec fox crying, but they didn't understand why and they couldn't talk to him either, since it is an animal after all.
With one hand the older one stroked the fox's head and with the other he slowly turned the collar, he turned it so that he could read what was written on it, until he let go of the collar and looked confusedly at the others, but also at the little fox. "Chan? What is it?" - "His name is Yang Jeongin and underneath it stood something about fennec fox hybrid... does any of you know what that means?" The six looked at each other and then shook their heads, but one of the younger ones took out his phone and googled it.
A few minutes later he turned it off and stood up. "Channie... can I?..." he asked and the older one nodded, the two swapped places and so he started talking to the now no longer nameless fox. "Innie..." he said and the fox turned his head towards him and looked at him with glassy eyes. "Ohh... don't cry... do you want to come with me?... And then we'll talk?..." he asked and when Jeongin moved from the other's lap, he had his confirmation, the little one jumped from said lap onto the floor and looked at the boy in front of him, waiting.
The boy stood up and walked away, followed by Jeongin. When he arrived at his bed, he patted the empty space, where the little one jumped straight on and only then did he start to speak openly. "I guess you need something to wear, right?" Jeongin nodded, the still nice young man stood up and got some clothes from his closet and then put them next to the fox. "I'll wait outside the door, okay? When you're done... then... umm... then knock on the door three times from the inside and then I'll come back in, okay?" Again the fox just nodded and left his room, leaving the fox alone.
Jeongin, meanwhile, changed back to his human form after all these months. He quickly got dressed and instead of knocking on the door as he was told, he barricaded himself under the boy's desk and continued to cry quietly. The others in the living room were still visibly confused, but they trusted each other and just waited patiently in the living room. The still nameless young man, after standing in front of the door for ten minutes, was slowly getting worried, which is why he gently knocked on his bedroom door. "Innie?.. Is everything okay with you?" But he got no answer, so he slowly opened the door and entered his room, but he couldn't find the little fox or probably the boy with fox ears and a soft fox tail anywhere.
Panic.
He left his room and ran down the whole floor, but he didn't find Jeongin. So he sprinted down the stairs and ran around everywhere until he got to the living room, where the others were still waiting. "Have... have... Did you happen to see the little fox or... umm a boy in my clothes?" He asked and the others continued to look at each other in confusion. "No? no... okay... then umm... bye." And so he ran back upstairs. "Innie... where have you gone..." He mumbled to himself as he tried to calm himself down.
Jeongin, who was still sitting under the boy's desk, stopped crying when he saw how panicked the boy was, changed back into his fox form and crawled out of his hiding place. With slow steps he walked towards the bed, jumped on it and nudged the boy with his nose. The boy was a little frightened, but was relieved when he saw the fox in front of him. "There you are... I thought you had left." He hugged the little fox as best he could and instead of going back downstairs to the others he lay down in his bed with the fox and the two of them fell asleep peacefully.
What they didn't notice was that the others were now in a kind of panic, as the younger one was pretty upset because he couldn't find the fox or something similar, and when he didn't come into the living room with them either, they expected the worst, which is why they ran off and looked for their boyfriend. "Hannie? Where are you baby?" They said in a normal tone, because they didn't really want to scream.
But they never got an answer, so their last option was his room, they quietly opened it and when they found Hannie sleeping there with the little fox on his body, they were relieved and could go to sleep, but they still didn't understand two things.
What did this 'fennec fox hybrid' mean? And why did Hannie want to 'talk' to the fox alone?
