SAPHIRA HAD GAINED CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER BEING immobilized by her multiverse variant and found herself in a cage with individual cuffs on her wrist. It was dark and she couldn't see all that well, which meant it was night time.

"What the hell happened?" the girl patted her pockets and they turned out empty.

Saphira collected her thoughts and gritted her teeth, by remembering the older version of herself. "So she's the crazy bitch trying to kill me..." she whispered, analyzing her surroundings.

Heels clacked as the lights flickered, causing the Stark girl to move back instinctively. "You are right about that," the voice sent chills up Saphira's spine as she smirked her way. "Didn't expect you to wake so soon, but I can manage,"

"Why are you doing this?" Saphira went to bang on the cage doors but was electrocuted before she could even reach the bars.

"Start asking the right questions and maybe I'll answer them." Sade replied unbothered working on something at this makeshift desk.

Saphira glared at her trying to wrap her mind around why she would want to kill herself. Besides the obvious reasons, depression anxiety and generational trauma.

She would have been glad to see a version of herself— not even at her peak.

So why wasn't this version.

The eighteen year old continued to ponder before being electrocuted again. She winced and scrunched her nose when she realized she hadn't touched the bars. "I wasn't even close,"

"I just felt like startling you... out of your thoughts," Sade giggled as she sat something down.

"Why are you doing this?" Saphira says as Sade says "Why am I doing this?"

"You're very predictable, bumblebee," The older variant of her smirked, calling her the nickname her father used to, cause Saphira to choke back.

"I wasn't always this disturbed and troubled. I actually was a pretty happy, bubbly soul." Sade spoke, sharpening her nails. "I had a twin sister."

Saphira inaudibly gasped before meeting Sade's gaze. "I'm aware she doesn't exist in this universe. There were others she existed in, this is one of two where she doesn't."

"In my universe, she was murdered by her own boyfriend. He may say it was an accident but he lies, do not believe him." Sade screamed.

Saphira studied her movements carefully. Then suddenly she caught a faint glance that emitted no smell just a slight green color.

It was targeted towards Sade who continued to ramble about her goal and vengeance she felt.

A vine slammed her head into the table as she laid there.

Saphira moved back, feeling uneasy until a version of her with red hair and hazel eyes appeared in front of the cage letting her out. "Are you going to try and kill me too?" she gulped as Saphira 2 shook her head, disagreeing.

"Your friends have been looking for you and I locked onto your life energy from the last place you were seen." she spoke in a soft tone.

The bruises weren't horrifying as her variant unclasped the chains and cuffs around her wrist and ankles.

Saphira two lifted an arm around her shoulder as Saphira leaned against her. They used a Venus fly trap to get to the roof of the building, following the vines that led to the school.
