For fifteen years I have been in both my mother's shadow and my father's shadow. When I was younger I was the center of attention, so I expect it to come naturally. Despite me leaving my boarding school of five years, I have still managed to keep my daddy wrapped around my finger. My mother... not so much.

"S, are you off of your flight honey?" My mother asked, with an impatient tone.

"Yes, mom. I see Happy now." I jogged towards my uncle Happy, careful enough not to raise my skirt to much. He engulfed me in a large hug and I smiled. "I missed you uncle."

"I missed you too, sweetheart. Your father still can't believe you're home." Happy claimed, closing the door he had opened for me once I stepped in the car.

"He's planned another party, didn't he?" I groaned.

I had a normal-ish relationship with my father, we weren't really close because I felt more comfortable with my mom. Mainly because she was into fashion and clothes, while my father was into science and gadgets. Which boggles me because, how did they create me- anyways.
