→A DAY LATER
The day closed by faster than I anticipated, and honestly, I was quite nervous. I had no idea why, I was going with my friends, but I don't know, the thought of Niki being there, the main star of the show?
Subconsciously, I was trying to make myself look as best as possible, and never, never in my life have I ever tried so hard to look as pretty as possible.
I paused, looking at myself in the mirror. I had no idea whether I was doing this for myself still or not.
But regardless, I continued, the taxi should be outside of my house soon enough, and then I'll meet up with Go-eun, and we'll go both from there.
After finishing some small ass last touches, I made sure everything was how I wanted it to look, and after a notification stating that my ride was outside, I quickly hurried downstairs.
"HAEUN!" My mother called me from the room, I walked into the room, and she looked me up and down, then at my face, with a sigh.
"Stay safe, and don't stay there too late." Her brows knit up, she probably didn't expect her daughters to grow up so fast.
I gave a chuckle, nodding and quickly heading out before the taxi drove off without me.
I met with Go-eun, and seeing her, we both squealed, giving a quick hug as she sat in the back with me. We were acting like such idiots, just complimenting each other left and right, like little fangirls of each other.
We made our way to the designated address, and as we stepped out of the taxi, the other three girls were there. Mina, Yoojung and Jihyun waving frantically and excitedly.
And they said that I was crazy for going at first. Look who's the excited ones now.
We didn't waste a second more, hurriedly heading into the huge house, scattered with people already getting passed out drunk in the front, there were outdoor minibars, drinks upon drinks outside - which just made me wonder how the inside looked.
But, we stepped inside, and holy shit. There were more people than I expected, well, then it'd be easier for me to avoid Niki, no way he'd be able to navigate me from all these people.
"Oh my god, this place is crazy." Mina turned back around, holding my hand as she guided me through the crowd, the others following behind.
"Right? Where did Sunghoon pull all these people from?" I laughed nervously, okay, this place was quite huge, but nonetheless, Mina dragged us to a larger bar situated in his house.
We all collectively took up most of the stools, just ordering drinks with no care in the world.
"Guys, don't make it too obvious, but look behind you." Go-eun suddenly leaned in a bit, lowering her tone ever so slightly.
I know she said don't make it too obvious, but the five of us turned our heads around, wondering what was going on.
And immediately, I spot what Go-eun was hinting at.
None other than Niki and Yejin, sparking up a conversation. Or something along those lines, Niki was looking around the crowd, while Yejin was speaking to him. He was stood beside Sunoo and Sunghoon, but still looked around as if he was looking for someone.
I turned around, giving a small laugh.
"He doesn't look too interested in her." I said, taking a shot of my drink the bartender just poured.
They all laughed, nodding their heads and turning back to glance at them again.
"Oh shit, wait, nevermind." Mina tapped my shoulder frantically, implying I should turn back around.
So I did, and Niki was talking to Yejin, a small smirk on his face before she grabbed his wrist and slowly dragged him away from his friends and dispersed into the crowd.
I swallowed hard, rolling my eyes and focusing back on the drink the bartender once again, poured.
"If they are really dating, then this is the longest a girl has ever lasted with Niki." Yoojung mentioned, and I just looked over at her, before turning back around just to double check.
But no, they were gone, and all that was left of them was their two friends, Sunghoon and Sunoo.
"Hey, do either of those guys have girlfriends?" I suddenly asked, they all dart their heads to look at me, a wide grin on all of their faces.
"Haeun, do not even tell me you're thinking what I'm thinking." Jihyun raised her glass as we all collectively clinked them together, lifting the liquor up to my lips.
I slammed my shot glass down on the counter, looking at Go-eun who just stared at me with a smirk.
"What? I'm the new girl so that ultimately means I can't hit on numerous guys at once? Niki does it, can't I?" I scoffed, looking at them as they just giggled.
"Which one are we thinking?" Mina looked at me, she was so approving of my idea.
"Who said I'm only hitting on one? If I could find them all, I'd hit on all seven on them." I rethought my words for a second, "Six, not including Niki."
