"You're awfully flirtatious." I scoffed to myself as he just gave a smile, looking down to the ground for a short moment.
"And you're awfully annoying." Niki responded in the same tone as I did, I just looked at him, locking our eyes together for probably the millionth time ever.
"You know what, how about you just drop me back home?" I stopped, and he just gave a small chuckle.
"I can do that for you." Niki began, "under a circumstance."
I stopped, looking at him with such confusion. What the hell did this guy want now?
"A circumstance? I'm not sucking your dick in the middle of nowhere for a ride home, Niki." I continued walking back towards the car, he gave a laugh catching up to me.
"That's.. not exactly what I was going to ask, but alright." Niki ran his fingers through his hair, a genuine smile radiating on his face.
I caught my eyes in his face, for once, when he wasn't being his usual, grumpy and cold self, he was a pretty sweet guy.
"Then what?" I furrowed my brows, wondering what he was trying to suggest.
"Don't speak to Sunghoon." Niki randomly blurt out, and his comment took me aback. I shot my head to look over him as we made it to his car again.
"Uh, that's a weird request, but okay." I sat in his car as he did too, "I guess I'll just move onto Jake."
I had to tease him a little more with that comment. He started the car, and then glared at me with an unsatisfied frown as soon as I said that.
"What's with you and trying to get with all of my friends?" Niki accelerated swiftly onto the road, his engine not sparing a single bit of remorse for the people sleeping.
"What's with you cockblocking? I can't get with any of your friends? Who the hell am I supposed to get with?" I scoffed, crossing my arms and looking out of the window.
All Niki did was turn his head to look at me, a wicked smirk with his sharp, pointed teeth glinting.
"Didn't you say your penpal was important to you, what about him?" Niki mentioned my penpal, and I just rolled my eyes giving a light huff.
"I'm supposed to fuck a letter? Real smart of you Niki." I gave a dismissive eye-roll at his comment, a touch of attitude coming from my lips.
Niki gave a chuckle.
"You know what I mean, don't be so difficult Haeun." Niki seemed awfully amused with this topic, and I just threw a glare his way.
"I don't know him personally, I know his likes and dislikes, what he does in his spare time, all that detailed stuff, but I have no idea what he looks like, or sounds like." I explained to him, a little frustrated how I actually had no idea what he sounds like.
"Then why don't you ask him?" Niki suggested, and I swear to god, I stared at him with literal annoyance protruding through my gaze.
"You think I haven't thought of that? We have this rule where we can't exchange socials or anything like that." An irritated huff emit from my lips, "Eunmi says she thinks he's like a seventy year old man."
Niki choked on thin air, he abruptly cleared his throat.
"What if he asked you how you looked like, or for your socials, what would you say?" Niki asked, and I leant my head on the window, closing my eyes while giving a deep sigh.
"I don't know. I really have no idea." Man, why was having a penpal nowadays so difficult.
"Your stop." Niki didn't continue the conversation, and instead, I realised that we were already home.
I gave a groan, leaning my head on the headrest and then turning to look at him. He gazed straight into my eyes too.
"God, what a short night." I didn't really want to go home, and Niki just chuckled, looking down towards his lap.
Up until, my phone pinged, and the two of us looked at what the notification was. It was surprisingly from the group chat. I didn't notice that Go-eun sent a few messages a while ago. Oops.

go-eun: HAEUN WHERE DID YOU GO
go-eun: HAEUN HAEUN HAEUN

I looked at Niki, who just stared back at me, wondering who was making me smile and laugh like that.
"Hey, drive to the police station." I told him, and he raised his brow.
"Oh? Who got arrested?" Niki chuckled, not wasting a second more, and accelerating away from my house once again.
"Go-eun." I sighed with a smile, shaking my head, "That girl is reckless."
