Night Raid were making their way to the island where the Techno-Drones will make their anticipated attack.
TJ began flying ahead of Night Raid.
"Slow it down, TJ. We've got plenty of time. No point in using up all your energy just getting there, right?" Tatsumi said.
"Right." TJ said as he slowed down.
"So, Tatsumi, honestly, these Techno-Drones that we're rushing off to face, do you think we can beat them?" Akame asked.
"We'll it's tough to say before we've seen them." Tatsumi replied. "We'll know soon enought though."
"I'm glad one of is relaxed. A pair of glorified scrap cans ought to be child's play." Akame said. "But I can't shake this feeling that we're somehow in over our heads."
"Over our heads?" Tatsumi said as he raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah." Akame said.
"Look, if these things give you any trouble, don't put yourself at risk trying to be a hero." Tatsumi said. "If you go, the RongoRongo Books go."
"Yeah. I understand." Akame said.
"Don't worry so much." Tatsumi said as he stuck out his hand.
"Yeah, okay." Akame smiled as she extended her hand as well.
"Hey guys look, Merriad is up there." TJ said.
"Yo! What's up!" Tatsumi said as he pulled up next to Merriad.
"Oh shit." Merriad chuckled. "What's up, handsome."
"Nothing much. Just flying towards danger like you." Tatsumi said.
"Ain't that the truth." Merriad chuckled.
"Where's Cassandra and Gilberta?" Akame asked.
"The last time we saw them they were still training." Merriad said. "Plus, I wanted them to stay behind and guard the trap house."
"Hey. We're about a hundred miles off the Imperial Coast, right there's the island, this is the place." TJ said.
Night Raid and Merriad hovered above the island.
"Pretty big island." Lubbock said.
"Yeah, and a densely populated pretty big island by the looks of it." Chelsea said.
"We'll have to think of some way to lure these Drone things away from the city so the people living here don't get caught in the crossfire." TJ said.
"Good call, kid." Leone smiled as she patted TJ on the head.
"I'm picking up some power sources from that mountain ridge over there." Merriad said. "I'm guessing that must be the Jaegers."
"Yeah, let's go." Najenda said.
Night Raid and Merriad flew down the mountain ridge.
"See? What I tell you. The calvary." Wave said as spotted Night Raid alongside Merriad. "Hey!"
"Fashionably late as always, huh?" Bols said.
"That's kind of our thing." Tatsumi chuckled.
"More like your thing." Mine said as she grabbed Tatsumi's arm.
"Where's Kurome?" Akame asked.
"And Esdeath." Najenda added.
"The last time we saw them, they were training for this day. So, I doubt that they'll miss the fight." Wave said.
