"Our hero has been.... defeated..." The announcer shrieked. "Trounced by the villain, Vain."
Takato Sai walked over in pain.
"Mr. Sai, sir, care to speak on your sudden loss?" The annoncer asked.
"Shut it! My balance was just off!" Takato Sai said.
"Is that a fact?" the Announcer pried.
"Yes, it is!!" Takato Sai said.
"Well okay then." the Announcer said.
"Don't worry people of the world, Takato Sai just needs a little breather, and then the real smack down will begin soon." Takato Sai laughed.
"How in the hell did this moron manage to win a championship title?" Esdeath said. "He's in way over his head."
Tatsumi then walked to Vain facing him head on.
"Well, here we go, huh?" TJ said.
"Yeah." Lubbock nodded.
"Alright, this is it Tatsumi. Let's see what you've got." Esdeath thought.
"So, starting off with you, huh?" Vain said. "Suit yourself but I'd rather save the best for last." Vain said.
"We'll see. The word is you've adopted most if not all of our fighting techniques." Tatsumi said.
"You might say that." Vain said.
"Alright dad, show us why you've been so nonchalant." Future TJ thought.
"People of the world, ease your troubled hearts, Mr. Sai, although pushed outside the ring, has assured that Vain will be due for a comeuppance." The announcer said. "Meanwhile, a member of the rag-gag group has ventured, fool-heartedly, into the ring to face off against Vain. How long do think it will take these unranked amateurs to flounder?"
"I've seen corpses with better fighting stances than that guy up there." Takato Sai said. "If it was me that fool who was fighting, he'd been finished in less than two seconds. He should be locked up for his own good. I'd give him five seconds then it's over. Not much of a breather for me, huh?"
"Maybe enough for a single exhale." The announcer chuckled.
"At least the appetizer will be good until the real meal of fighting begins." Takato Sai laughed.
"Tatsumi's never been like this." Wave said.
"Yeah, you're right." Run said. "He's so relaxed."
"That's an understatement." Seryu said. "Look at him for crying out loud. Going by his stance, you would've thought he was just sparring or something."
"Safe to say he's been looking forward to this little sparring match." Bulat chuckled.
"It just shows how confident he is in his own power." Sheele said. "That has to be a good sign, right?"
"I really hope it's a good sign." Chelsea said. "Because God knows we need it."
Akame and Leone then glanced at over at TJ and his utter focus on the impending battle.
"Well?" Vain said.
Tatsumi then blitzed Vain and the two began countering each other's move and then they both connecting simultaneously.
Vain then rushed at Tatsumi but Tatsumi used an afterimage, catching Vain off guard and drove him to the edge of the ring and kicked him over.
"Got his ass!" Chelsea said.
Vain then stopped himself and reentered the ring.
"Nice one. Enjoy that tiny victory while you can." Vain smirked.
