Chapter 91: Let the Games Begin

"Just twenty minutes until the Game of Vain commences, where the fate of the world is anyone's guess." the Announcer said. "There are no spectators around as expected. As you can see Vain is standing motionless in the ring. Out illustrious world champion Takato Sai has yet to arrive."

A white limousine then pulled up to the arena and stepping out was Takato Sai.

"Our champion has arrived." the Announcer said.

Takato Sai then approached Vain and gave a thumbs down. 

"Seriously? This is hilarious." Vain mocked.

"Fifteen minutes until the games begin ladies and gentlemen!" the Announcer said.

Takato Sai then walked into the ring and signaled the announcer and the cameraman to come closer to the ring.

"I bet you're feeling really confident champ." the Announcer said.

"What I'm feeling is pity for this creep Vain." Takato Sai said. "He's shitting himself at the sight of me. And running his mouth like he's been doing and wiping out the Military Army was all fake as shit."

Vain was completely tuning out the noise.

At Tatsumi's Village:

"Is it bad that I don't care if this loser gets his life snatched out his soul?" Cosmina said.

"Nope." Dorothea said.

At the Tournament:

The announcer then spotted something flying in the air towards them.

"What are you looking at?" Takato Sai asked.

What was approaching them was Esdeath.

"Esdeath. So glad you made an appearance."  Vain thought. "I hope you know what you're in for."

Esdeath then landed at the edge of the ring.

"It seems a voluptuous and busty woman has joined us." the Announcer said. "Unless my eyes deceive me, she came right out of the sky."

"It's just a trick." Takato Sai said.

"Could this woman be taking part in this tournament? Let's ask her." the Announcer said.

"Back off. I'm not indulging with fools." Esdeath said.

The announcer then ran back Takato Sai said.

"Crazies like her only serve to get in the way." Takato Sai said.

"Five minutes until the Games of Vain begins!" the Announcer said. "Of course, the only person able to step up is Takato Sai. This is the person capable of defeating Vain."

Drone #6 then landed at the arena as well.

"Where are these people coming from." the announcer asked.

"I told you, it's all sleight of hand." Takato Sai said.

"Six too, huh? That's a surprise." Vain smirked. "So, you still exist?"

"Oh wow. Stylish did a good job rebuilding him."  Esdeath thought.

"Ah, the one I've been waiting for. He's finally come." Vain said. "Excellent."

Night Raid and the Jaegers were making their way over to the arena.

"Look more of them..." the announcer said.

"Right down there!" Chelsea said.

"Yeah. Let's do this thing." Tatsumi said.

"People are just falling out of the sky one by one." the Announcer said.
