Chapter 60: Mysterious Youth

"Sorry, could you repeat that?" King Teal said.

"I am here to kill you." The young man repeated as he removed his mask.

"Hmph, he's serious father." Torosu scoffed. "Oh, I'm terrified. Aren't you?"

Torosu and King Teal shared a laugh.

"If only you with whom you're picking a fight." Torosu said.

"Oh, I know." The young man said. "You're Torosu. It shouldn't be that surprising. Truth is, I've known about you for years."

"You flatter me." Torosu said. "It seems my reputation proceeds me, even on this worthless rock. Well, not completely. It seems someone failed to tell you I'm the strongest being this multiverse has ever seen."

"It seems someone failed to tell you that you're going die here." The young man replied.

Torosu started to get angry but composed himself.

"I grow bored of this, deal with him." Torosu said to a soldier. "And the rest of you, go kill anyone you see."

"Sir yes sir!!" the men shouted.

"Listen up." The young man said. "Surrender now, and I'll let you live. Once we start this there's no going back."

"Yeah? We'll see about that kid." a soldier said.

"Hey! Prince Torosu told me to flatten this little twerp." another soldier chimed in.

"Hmph, his power level is so low the tracker can't even read it." the soldier chuckled. "What a joke. Yeah, you'll be all over this landscape, but you won't suffer too much."

Using the cannon blaster on his arm, the soldier fired a beam at the young man, but he easily deflected it.

The soldier, shocked at this, fired three more beam that were also easily deflected.

The young man then blitzed the soldier and punched into a support beam of Torosu's ship, rendering him unconscious.

"Well." Torosu smirked.

"Now you're going to die!" a soldier said.

The soldier then charged at the young man only to be sliced by Incursio.

"Seems you're tougher than you look." Torosu said.

With Night Raid & the Capital:

"Hey Cosmina, what was that you said about Tatsumi not being back?" Tomas asked.

"You remember my name?" Cosmina asked with genuine surprise.

"Of course we do." Gemma said. "You're the girl who has a huge crush on our son, one of many, many girls at least."

"Oh okay." Cosmina said. "As for Tatsumi, after his fight with Torosu, we all thought he died in the explosion of Planet Zulo, but he's somehow still alive, out there in space. And he's been gone for a whole year."

"What?" Tomas said. "And here we thought he was just running late."

"Well, at least he's alive." Gemma said. "And safe it seems."

"Another huge power just showed up out of nowhere." Akame said. 

"You're kidding right?" Syura said.

"No. And some of that other energy that was there, it's gone now." Dorothea said.

"Like there was a battle and a whole bunch of people just lost." Leone said.

"Battle? But we're all right here." Gemma said.

"We got to teach you guys how to sense energy when this is over." Najenda said.
