Torosu was continuing his brutal assault on Esdeath as TJ, Akame, Leone and Chelsea watched helplessly.
During the beating, Esdeath coughed up blood that landed on Torosu's face, he in return licked the blood off his face.
As the beating continued, TJ's urge to jump in and help Esdeath was building but before he could act on these urges, Akame grabbed him.
"We can't just leave her there." TJ said.
With Tatsumi:
Tatsumi began feeling out the power sources to locate everyone.
"Okay, hang on for a little bit longer, guys! I'm on my way!" Tatsumi said.
On the battlefield:
Torosu's beating on Esdeath got worse and worse as Torosu continued to hold up Esdeath with his telekinesis.
More and more blood dripped on the ground. Torosu then walked in front of Esdeath and delivered a vicious elbow to her abdomen which made cough up a mouthful of blood onto Torosu's face which he sadistically licked off of his face.
The beating was becoming sickening for everyone to watch now for Akame, Leone, TJ, and Chelsea.
After every punch Esdeath looked more and more lifeless.
Torosu then threw Esdeath into a boulder. Torosu then went over to Esdeath and put foot on top of a rock that was on top of Esdeath and crushed it.
"All that fight really did disappear." Torosu said and he grabbed Esdeath by her shirt. "Well, it's time I put you out of your misery."
But just as Torosu was about to kill Esdeath, Tatsumi showed up seemingly out of nowhere.
Tatsumi then made his way over to his son and his friends.
"So, that anonymous power that showed up all of a sudden really was you, huh Akame?" Tatsumi smiled. "It's good to see you alive again, welcome back."
Tatsumi extended his fist towards to Akame.
"It's good to be back." Akame blushed as she fist-bumped Tatsumi.
"Dad, you made it!" TJ said running up to Tatsumi and hugging him.
"Hey son." Tatsumi said as he patted TJ on the head.
"So, you're okay now, right?" Chelsea asked.
"Yep, I'm fine." Tatsumi replied.
Leone then wrapped her arms around Tatsumi.
"I'm so glad your back! You just love taking your sweet ass time, huh?" Leone said.
"Sorry for the wait Sis." Tatsumi chuckled. "I'm proud of you for fighting so hard, TJ. And thank you guys for taking good care of him until now but let me take care of this from here. I'll handle it."
"You'll what?" Chelsea said.
"You can't be serious Tatsumi! Not against a monster like him!" Akame protested.
Tatsumi placed a hand on Akame's shoulder and looked her in the eyes.
"Don't worry. I'll beat him, okay?" Tatsumi said softly.
Akame blushed then looked away.
"Okay fine, just please be careful." Akame relented.
Tatsumi gave Akame a thumbs up as he walked over to Torosu.
"You sure Dad?" TJ asked.
Tatsumi simply patted TJ on the head as he walked past them.
"That is the real Tatsumi, right?" Chelsea said. "He's so strong now."
