"Alright TJ, let's take a break." Tatsumi said.
But TJ wasn't going for it.
TJ began going at his father again.
"Hey easy." Tatsumi said as he leg swept TJ.
TJ threw an energy beam which Tatsumi deflected.
"Back when I was training with Aunt Akame and Leone, they told me you wouldn't be a good teacher... you're too nice! TJ said as threw another beam at Tatsumi, which he dodged.
The two began going back and forth.
"They said you were too gentle! Especially with me! Now, I can see what they meant." TJ said. "They're right. You've been taking it easy on me ever since we got here!"
TJ threw another beam at Tatsumi. Tatsumi deflected that one as well.
"Listen, I need you to come at me with everything you got. All out, even if you're worried that it might kill me." TJ said. "You have to push me to the very limit. And if I can't take it, then we'll know that was never going to be stronger than you from the start!"
Tatsumi transformed into Incursio.
"I'm ready. All or nothing." TJ said. "It's what I want dad. If I don't risk pushing myself to the limit, then I'll never unlock Incursio!!"
Tatsumi then charged a Possession Wave and fired it at TJ.
TJ then tried his best to deflect it.
"I've got to be strong. Everyone's counting on me. I can't let them down!" TJ thought. "Like against the Tuffles or the Zoku Force or Torosu."
TJ then started remembering all the past battles he's been in alongside Night Raid and how weak he felt during crucial moments.
"Whenever my family needed me most, I was always too weak or too scared to help them. I've been letting them down my whole life." TJ thought.
After being driven back by the Possession Wave, TJ's hair then flashed red as he sent the blast back at Tatsumi, who dodged it.
TJ had finally transformed into Incursio.
He was struggling to keep the power under control.
"There you, see? I always knew you had it in you." Tatsumi said. "That's good son. Now bring your energy under control. Calm your mind."
TJ finally managed to relax and go back to his base form and dropped to his knees in exhaustion.
"That was awesome, TJ." Tatsumi said. "You'll master this in no time, son."
"Thanks dad..." TJ then passed out, but Tatsumi caught him and spent several minutes smiling at his son.
At the Battle:
"So, this is his final form, huh?" Esdeath said.
"Eight! She's really gone!" Lubbock thought. "That monster!"
"No! Don't! Future TJ said.
Lubbock then charged in and punched and kicked Vain, but he literally didn't even move or acknowledge Lubbock attacks.
Lubbock then began attacking more ferociously.
"My final form. Finality is finally here." Vain thought. "Truly marvelous."
Lubbock then used Cross-Tail to make a spear and threw it at Vain, but it broke on contact.
"What the fuck..." Lubbock said.
