Future TJ was traveling through time back to his timeline.
"The Drones from that timeline weren't all that bad." Future TJ thought. "The ones from my own time are a different story. The toughest battle still lies ahead of me."
Future TJ then arrived at the future landing at Night Raid's beat-up an almost abandoned hideout.
Future TJ then went inside and greeting his only family he had left in his time, his grandparents, Tomas and Gemma, who were ecstatic to him back.
"Hey guys. I'm back." Future TJ smiled.
In the present, One Month After the Vain Games:
Night Raid were at the Wakoku Island relaxing in the Hibachi River.
"We came here when we first came back to life." Sheele said.
"Good fucking times." Leone said.
"Hey TJ. Make sure you stick to your training okay." Mine said.
"Yeah, mom." TJ said. "I want to be like dad."
"I love that kid." Leone said. "Best nephew ever."
"Tatsumi... I miss you." Akame sighed to herself.
"He cared about you too." Leone whispered.
Meanwhile, Takato Sai was celebrating with the people outside the Imperial Capital over his somehow convincing belief that he defeated Vain.
In the Spirit Realm:
"That Takato Sai dude sure knows how to entertain the people." Tatsumi said. "You got to give him that."
"It's not like he actually did shit." Sayo sighed.
"We still need a place to stay because you blew up my home, remember?" King San said.
"Yeah right. I guess we have to build something." Tatsumi said.
"Where are we going to find a good carpenter?" Ieyasu asked.
"Me. And you three are going to help." King San said.
"Tatsumi's not that much of a constructionist." Sayo said.
"I'm not expecting a mansion." King San said.
"Hey, King San, is this spot good?" Ieyasu asked.
"Yes! It's perfect." King San said. "You three Tuffles get to work."
Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu shrugged and went along with it.
In the Future:
"Hold on. Have you gotten taller, TJ?" Gemma asked.
"Yeah, I did." Future TJ said. "I spent some time in room near the Path of Peace, it lets you squeeze a years' worth of training in a single day. It was pretty cool."
"Sounds like some high-tech stuff." Gemma said.
"What's more important is that you made it back to us safe and sound." Tomas said. "So, how did it go?"
An hour later:
"So, things got pretty rough, huh?" Tomas said. "Our poor son, I guess there some things time won't let you alter."
"So, your younger self defeated Vain, and it turned out, okay?" Tomas said.
"Yeah. The younger me doesn't know that I'm him." Future TJ said. "And Esdeath was still as flirty as ever."
"She didn't do anything perverted to you, did she?" Gemma asked skepticallly.
"Uhm, she was the one who I was alone with in the forever room." Future TJ nervously chuckled.
