ME ZINDA HUN!
Kl raat ek muskurahat aayi, or keha gyi muje,
Ki me zinda hu!
In bikhri jhulfo me, jo mera naam hava pr kuredti h,
Me zinda hu!
In saason me, jo kho jaati h pal bhar me,
Me zinda hu!
Un fad-fadate pannno pr likhe lafzo me,
Me zinda hu!
Vo jo din-raat gungunati h,
Us avaz me,
Me zinda hu!
Vo dharkan jo mere man ki taan bn jaati h, us taan me,
Me zinda hu!
Un havao me, jinme mera itar gula h;
Un khamoshiyon me, jinme mera savaal chupa h;
Un nzro me, jinme mera chitra chapa h;
Haa me zinda hu!
Me zinda hu,
Khud me, khayalo me, khawabo me.....

Last night came a smile,
& said to me,
that I'M ALIVE!
In these scattered locks,
that scrape my name on the winds,
I'M ALIVE!
In these breaths,
which vanish in the air, in a moment,
I'M ALIVE!
In the words written on those flapping pages,
I'M ALIVE!
That which hums day-&-night long,
In that voice,
I'M ALIVE!
That beat, which becomes the rhythm of my heart,
In that rhythm,
I'M ALIVE!
Airs, in which my scent dissolves;
Silences, in which my questions hide;
Eyes, in which my face carves,
Yes, I'M ALIVE!
I'M ALIVE,
In myself, in thoughts, in dreams....

It was ORIGINALLY IN HINDI, & TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH just NOW, for my READERS, who LIKE ENGLISH, OR DON'T KNOW HINDI!
I found it more relavent here than in MY DIARY, so here it is!
