I decided to surprise her with flowers, but seeing her reactions bloomed my heart more than these stupid flowers!

I wonder what is this girl doing to me? Where is that old fucker King? Why do I soften so much in front of this sole, little girl? Why her mere fear makes me cancel all our plan for the day, cancelling all my special hard-made arrangements & rush back to the same circus of a haveli of her Dad?

"I can't loose you either Sweetheart!" I answered to her, as seeing her vulnerabilities made me reflect mine as well!

Yes, I let her see my feelings, I know she needs to see them to know that my words are not mere words! I smiled looking at her, as I took back-steps, to call my men to make arrangements for our return.

She was afraid, no terrified, & I think the reason is my sudden disappearance, however, she isn't ready to believe this, & I can't see her like this, all uncomfortable, petrified, & with a paranoid nature. I know though she shows herself bold to everyone, she still has several issues, she still panics, like she did the last night cause of those fucker Scorpios again, like she had the nightmares last night again!

I can't strain her more than she already is cause of my ruthless behavior to her that cursed day! I'm glad she didn't break apart, & also that her love for me didn't diminish cause of my folly, hell, her love only rose, like the ever-increasing ocean waters!

I looked at her, as I was about to turn to call my men, but didn't want to leave this worried face of hers, her tears, her worries, her care & concern, all for me & just me! That's what I was dying to see these all months, that too this openly, like she is proclaiming to the world herself, that she's MINE, & only mine!

However the horror on her face made me realize something, as she pressed her hand on her chest, looked behind me & at me again-&-again in horror, her lips moved but no words came out, her body trembled, but no movement made.

& as soon as this happened & I prepared myself for something, a loud bang was heard, followed by my girl's loud scream,

"NO!"

A bullet flew past me, however I had bent down & by now my men had surrounded us. Yes, being a King, I've to ever be prepared for such attacks. They are common for me now. In fact, it's uncommon to not face such things in a while! It feels like I don't have enemies anymore, which makes me feel empty!

But what's not common, is my girl's presence in such attacks! How dare those fucker Scorpios, as I identified them from their tattoos & dress-code, how dare they scare my girl?

I was sulking while shooting down the enemies, my gun being the fastest one, like a cheetah in front of their toys in name of weapons, when I felt two soft, small arms around me, as I looked down to find it to be my girl, all scared, she was trembling like a scared kitten, as I embraced her in my arms, my men surrounding us from all the sides in a circle.

Suddenly I heard her whimpers, as I felt something was off!

"V-Vivaan!" spoke she in her trembling voice, as her teary face was contorted with pain, making my heart palpate at the rate of a bullet-train!

"Sweetheart?" called her I in anticipation, as I checked her front to find her alright.

"Y-You a-are sh-shot!" spoke she as tears flew out of her beautiful eyes.
