Darrell's POV

During the show, Sabian made a new friend, a kid who was attending the show with his parents. The family had seats next to ours and the kid had easily fallen into a conversation with Sable. It was easy to see that the little kid had a crush on my woman, I couldn't blame him either. Won't lie, watching them goofing off together had my mother's words ringing in my ears. Sabian would easily make a great mom if we were ever to have a kid together. Watching them dance and head bang along to the music, it was fun to see the two of them act like reckless kids. I know we have had the talk, kind of. Usually, it always ended up with us saying "maybe, let's check back in another year."

Don't get me wrong, having a kid with Sabian would be entertaining to say the least, but I am too selfish and wanted all of her to myself. If I was to choose one person to have a kid with though, she was it for me, hands down.

"Alright, for this next song, I'd like to invite a friend of mine up here to jam. Can I get Sabian up here please?" James spoke into the mic, seeing him block the spotlight from his eyes to allow him to see better. With confusion on her face, Sable turned to look at me. I knew this had Rita written all over it. With a smile on her face, Rita began to point at her best friend to have James find them better. Soon people around us had joined in, chanting Sable's name over and over again. My poor woman looked mortified now that she had the whole venue's attention on her. I couldn't old my laughter back anymore.

"There she is! Get up here, Sabian!" James waved her over while security made their way towards us. Sable in a panic had launched herself at me, giving me a quick kiss as she handed my leather jacket to me. I gave her a proud smile, "have fun babe," reminding her to just relax and enjoy herself. Sable winked and followed security over towards the stage. Bobby stood next to me, capturing the very moment that the whole venue began chanting her name. Clapping and shouting for my woman when she walked towards the center of the stage.

Turning slightly towards Sable, James stayed next to the mic. "So, from what I remember, you said you preferred guitar, correct?" he asked, seeing Sable nodding in response. James smiled at my small, yet timid woman. "Ok good, because Kirk can use a break. Kirk, give the lady your guitar," he joked while nodding towards his bandmate. The crowed began to laugh along with the singer, watching Kirk help Sable with the strap to his guitar before giving her a reassuring squeeze to her shoulder and walk side stage. Not once did the proud smile that I had on my face faulter. Seeing her up there holding that guitar in her hands, nothing was sexier for me than seeing the very instrument that I loved playing in the hands of the woman that I was in love with. Talk about my ovaries exploding.

Vinnie, Rita, Lenny and Grady stood by to cheer on their friend. Who was clearly nervous. I just hope that she could feel the love and support we all were sending her way right now. James glanced down at Sable, "just follow my lead, alright?" he asked. I was at least thankful that the lead singer was being humble and took notice of my woman's discomfort. The band began to play Until It Sleeps which I knew that she had played many times, she was going to crush it. If you didn't know any better, you would easily think that Sable was part of Metallica and that she belonged among those men. Hearing her begin to sing always soothed my soul, it surprisingly complimented James' as she harmonized to him, blended perfectly. Within time I could see she started to relax and finally allow herself to have fun, she was getting a taste of why I love doing what I do, why music will always be a part of me and who we are.
