Chapter 1~ It's Time to Go to Hogwarts!

"WAKE UP Y/N! WAKE UP!!"

 You slightly wake up to the sounds of four feet running, and two little voices yelling at you to wake up. You can feel the excitement with every step. You smile and hide back under your covers pretending to be asleep. 

Poppy and Penelope burst into your room and yell at the same time, "Y/N WAKE UP IT'S TIME TO GO TO HOGWARTS!!!"

You lay there and let out and loud fake snore, the girls giggled as they tore your blankets off. 

You sit up quickly and say, "What?" 

The girls giggle again. "Get dressed!", Poppy said in a loud yet sweet tone. 

"For what?", you say stretching and rubbing your eyes, joking with your younger twin sisters. It was the day you went back to Hogwarts for your Senior Level 4, while Poppy and Penelope were starting their 1st Junior Level year.

Poppy and Penelope look at each other in confusion. 

"It's Hogwarts day.", Penelope said. You really open your eyes and allow them to adjust to the morning light from the windows. That is when you notice they're already in their sorting robes. 

You smile at their excitement and jokingly ask, "Did you sleep in them?" Laughing a little after putting your head down still trying to wake up. 

"No", they both said. 

"You're lying!", Poppy said looking at Penelope, "You wore that to bed." You look up at Penelope who is bright red.

Before you say anything, she starts to laugh, "Only the shirt, skirt, and socks. I wouldn't wear the robe, tie, or shoes to bed." All three of you laugh as you cast them out so you can get dressed into your uniform and robes. 

You walk down the giant thick spiral tree branch staircase that seemed to grow out of the floor and ceiling meeting in the middle. It had so many little leaves all around it, each one with a name. This is your family home, everyone in the Y/L/N family has lived in this house. It goes to the first born, so one day you'll receive this house. The staircase wasn't just a staircase, it was your family tree. It stood in the center of the house and leaves were added once a new family member was added. 

Green leaves were for those who were blood related but not heir to the estate, yellow leaves were for those who were married in or not blood related, and gold leaves were for who would own the estate. Your father and you had gold leaves with your names on them, mother had a yellow leaf, and your little sisters had green ones. You loved looking at the names of everyone before and how your family was connected and related. It looked like a full bloomed tree in your house.

As you walk down gliding your hands through the soft leaves, you smell your favorite smell. 

Your mother, along with being a Herbologist, is quite the Chef. She focuses on the use of Herbology for cooking, while your father is the type of Herbologist that seeks all sorts of knowledge of all species of plants. He, as well as your mother, have an interest in plants of the muggle world. 

Your father is away the first half of the week, every week, in the muggle world, collecting plant samples and whatever else he needs for his research. He always brought back seeds and recipes for your mother.

Your family, along with your best friend Lavander's family (The Hills), have always been interested in muggles. You and Lavander have some muggle born friends at Hogwarts and they share what it's like growing up in the muggle world.

Every first day of Hogwarts, your mother makes your favorite muggle food, chocolate waffles. In the wizarding world, of course you can make chocolate waffles. However, everything is grown differently in the muggle world and even chocolate tastes different. You love chocolate from the wizarding world, but muggle chocolate has a much more exponential taste.
