DRACO POV

After dropping Y/N off at class you went to your common room to pack your stuff. Snape told you to pack the important stuff. You made sure you grabbed the letter from your mother first and put it in your bag. As you were packing you heard a knock. You turn to see Blaise in your doorway. You were surprised to see him. The last time you talked to him was two and half weeks ago, he had been glued to Astoria, and always in her room. You missed him but you wanted him to be happy.

"Hey, where are you going?" You couldn't tell him the whole truth; you weren't really supposed to be talking to him. "I'm spending the night with Y/N, I have a test tomorrow so we're going to stay up late and study." It was awkwardly silent. "So," You start "you and Astoria?"

"Yeah, that happened. It's been well."

"That's good."

"Yep."

For once you two didn't know what to say to each other. You've known him since you were eight and have always had something to talk to you about or joke about. You never kept things from each other, and you had to find out through talk that he was dating Astoria.

"Umm, do you mind letting me use your grey V-neck? I'm taking Astoria out tonight and that would look sweet," You didn't want to, you were pissed. He hasn't talked to you, is dating the girl who wants to kill your literal soulmate, and now he's asking for your shirt. Snape's warning on acting normal echoed in your head.

You agree and go to your closet and grab the shirt. "Thanks brother." He smiled then left your room. You waited till he left the common room and continued your packing. 

'I swear I closed that door; I didn't hear it open or him walk in' You thought to yourself.
