Chapter 41 ~ Memories

DRACO POV

You and Snape were both confused, you were worried she was kidnapped again. You had an overwhelming feeling to go to your dorm. You ran, Snape ran after you struggling to keep up. You both run into your room and the Sunflower was gone. You had it in a vase but now was gone, no one would have taken it or known to take it. You told Snape you knew exactly where Y/N was and didn't ask permission to get on your broom to go get her. Snape knew you had to, she would be super confused why she was there and if any memories came through she may need to be guided.

When you got there Y/N was on the ground near the fire pit, you ran over to her worried but she didn't look hurt just peacefully asleep. You picked her up carefully holding her head in place and carried her to rest in bed. You were relieved she was okay and hoped this meant memories were coming back.

You decide to make food for her, 'Hoot Tea would calm her down if she freaks out when she wakes up and cookies would make her feel at home.' You thought to yourself.

You run down stairs and start making her tea and cookies, Y/N had given you all sorts of recipes for the picnic and anytime you cooked for her. Double chocolate chip cookies were her favorite so that would be on today's menu.

You sat with her as you waited for the cookies to be done, when the bell went off you prepared them for her. She was awake when you arrived upstairs.

She told you what she saw, when she looked into her eyes you saw what she saw and even felt what love felt like. You liked how warm it was and smell that came with it reminded you of her. When the memory was over she looked away and started to think. You didn't know if there was anything you could say to help her, it was when she fell in love with you months ago. You wondered if this meant the same, if she loved you again.

Y/N POV

It was clearly a memory, you remembered the date he brought you on. You remember him telling you about finding the cottage when you were small and kissing him here. You felt like there were some pieces missing like feeling love for him. It was there in the memory but you didn't feel that now.

"You're in love with me aren't you?" You ask him, his eyed widened and he felt surprised. You felt the love all around his body which was your answer.

"I can feel emotions..."

"I know." He interrupted. You looked at him, you don't remember telling him but there was clearly a lot you didn't remember.

"Well I can feel your love everywhere so I'm going to take that as a yes, you're in love with me." He nodded and you thought more.

"When did this happen? How did it happen? I just remember you being so mean I don't even know how we got to that point."

"It will make sense when more memories come, there's no rush. But now you understand why I'm suddenly so nice and protective. But we were dating, and now I don't know."

"Did it happen before or after the Quidditch game?" That was something you needed to know, time was all over the place for you. He told you to drink your tea and you did.

"Well, I fell in love with you before the Quidditch game; we were on good terms by then. After the Quidditch game is when we had that date and when you fell in love with me."

It made sense but didn't at the same time. You clearly didn't hit you head that hard at the game.

"The injuries and my memory loss wasn't from Quidditch were they?" You needed to know this too. Draco felt sad which felt more familiar to you now; not because you had been feeling it from recently but like you'd been feeling it longer than that. He tried to find the words then spoke still unsure what he was going to say.
