Chapter 38 ~ Penguin + Necklace = Love

Y/N POV

Lavander returned and a stuffed penguin toy in her hands, you remembered it but couldn't figure out where or when you got it.

"Here I got him from your room." She handed you the toy and sat on the bed.

"I can't remember when I got this, he's always just been there." You looked at the little cute penguin and thanked her. 

DRACO POV

The jeweler you went to, Oswald, is the same one your father goes to. He was expensive but he was very good at what he does; he also never asked questions and was very discreet if need be. A lot of people came for his cleaning surfaces. He was a heavy-set old man, he looked terrifying with all his tattoos and rarely smiled. But you knew he was a sweet man who scared his customers so no one would steal or argue with him. Anyone who knew Oswald personally knew who he really was.

You liked and trusted Oswald, you didn't tell him everything, but you told him all the blood needed to be completely gone and it was for a girl. You weren't sure on your relationship status at the moment.

"A girl huh? Well, you know I have a soft spot for love, and I can tell it's very important to you kid. Listen your father is a good customer; he has brought in many clients including you. I won't charge you for this, come back tomorrow unless I owl otherwise."

You thanked him and left to returned to Hogwarts, you owled Cedric to come to your room, you also pulled Blaise out of the common room. Blaise was out of the wing but was still very small in his movements and wrapped up

Both guys stood there silent, Cedric had never been in the Slytherin common room/dorms, so he was looking around wide eyed. He and Blaise didn't know each other but these were your two guy friends, and you needed their advice on how to give Y/N the necklace.

"Here we go again, please don't tell her it's from your mother this time around please." Blaise laughed mocking you a little. You looked at him annoyed but couldn't keep from smiling and laughing at your own ridiculousness.

"No, I won't being doing that again, I need to give it her in a way that's not too creepy."

All three of you thought, things with Y/N had been going well so far, but you still didn't feel like you were to the point where a personalized necklace from you was going to be accepted.

"Lavander has been helping her walk, she should be able to go to classes next week. How about we all do a picnic tomorrow to celebrate her recovery." Cedric suggested.

"We can all bring a gift, so it isn't so weird for you. And she could probably use a day out of bed with her friends before she has to go back to classes." It was a good plan, it would take the pressure off you and if everyone is giving her a gift, she wouldn't find it weird. Plus, she knew there were some memories of you to get back so you being there wouldn't be weird.

You all three agreed, Cedric went to the Hufflepuff common room to set a plan for Lavander and Y/N's sisters, Blaise talked to Mysteria, and you told Luna. Luna went with you to tell the golden trio and of course Fred and George.
