Chapter 32 ~ Obliviate

You walk into the hospital wing; Snape was at the doorway. "Where is she?" It had been a week since you found Y/N and Lavander. You had visited Y/N and Blaise as much as you could during the week. This morning you received an owl that Y/N was awake and rushed to see her.

 "She's in there but Draco-" You don't listen to anything else and head straight for Y/N. She was sitting in bed. When she saw you, she looked really confused and like she didn't want you near her, so you didn't come closer. "Hey how are you?" Her confusion stayed. "I'm...fine." She paused. You were confused why she was acting so weird, you thought or at least hoped she'd be happy to see you. "What's wrong?" You ask still standing at the end of her bed.

"Not to be rude but Draco why are you here? And what happened to my Quidditch uniform?" Why were you here? Her Quidditch uniform? What was she talking about?

"What do you remember Y/N?" Snape asked, he was behind you. She looked at Snape with confusion as well, but not how she looked at you. "We had our first Quidditch game of the year, we won, then I saw..." She looked at you and her body language showed she was uncomfortable. She looked back at Snape. "I saw the person I mentioned to you and now I'm here. What happened to my Quidditch uniform? Why am I in this outfit and what happened to it? Why is it all ripped up and dirty? I don't remember wearing this to the game." A million thoughts were racing through your head.

Lavander and Cedric came running in. "SNAPE!! DRACO!!" Cedric was holding Y/Ns pajamas and Lavander was holding a closed letter. Wait no, it was THE letter, and it was closed! Out of breath Lavander explains. "We went to Y/Ns room to get her some pajamas and we noticed the soulmate letter that she framed was on the bed and closed and we can't open it." You all tried, and it wouldn't budge. Your heart dropped; did she not love you anymore? You all forgot Y/N was sitting right there until she spoke. "How did you get that?" You all turned to look at her, she looked pissed. "Did you go through my bags?  Why do you have that?"

None of you had an answer, you had no idea what was going on. Snape took the letter and instructed Lavander to help Y/N into her pjs and back into bed. He pulled you into the hall with Cedric. "I'm positive she was Obliviated Draco, she doesn't remember anything after the Quidditch game, that's why the letter closed. She doesn't remember the love or your relationship. Lavander wasn't in the room until the night before we got there, she said she was already unconscious when she saw her." 

"No." You raise your voice a bit. "But we're soulmates, she's supposed to love me; I love her!" You pulled your open letter out of your pocket as tears formed. Cedric had gone back with you to the house to retrieve it. You held it and actually thought about Snape's words.

"But we were on okay terms before that, my letter opened before that, and we weren't hating each other. Why did she look at me like me being there disgusted her?" Snape thought a minute. "Astoria or Maddox must have taken that out of her memory." It was probably Astoria, only she would see that as a priority to remove. You were angry, you were more than angry you were boiling hot with anger. Everything you and her had been through, the way she loved you, her love was all gone. She doesn't remember that day in the library, that's where this all started.

"What do we do? What can I do?! I can't-" You started uncontrollably sobbing Cedric hugged you. 

Cedric had been a great comfort to you the past two weeks, he sat with Y/N when you couldn't, he made sure you ate and got homework done. He even tutored you for Y/N at the Three Broomsticks. He had been there for you while you were alone, you thought about how he probably needed someone too. His two best friends were missing for a week, and even though one friend was okay, the other clearly wasn't.
