Now We Wait

DRACO POV

After Y/N left you took a deep breath to relax you and helped the other guys pack up the picnic; you stayed quiet as you helped. Harry Potter came over to you.

"Do you think it will work?" You were surprised Harry was speaking to you. You hadn't been on the best of terms with him ever but you both cared about Y/N. Maybe this could be a new start for you both and you could be friends.

"I hope so, we just have to wait and see. I don't know how long it will take to get any memory out of any of those gifts. But everyone did good getting something that relates to her and I. Thankyou for getting her that, I hope she'll remember the day in the library."

You were grateful everyone had gotten something to help memories of you to come back even if she didn't understand what it was exactly. You hoped she would understand one day.

Y/N POV

You got back to your room and Lavander helped you put everything in place. The painting was hung up, the tea set sat by the fireplace on a little wooden table, the hippogriff sat on your bed, and the little cottage was on your dresser. You thanked Lavander again and asked to be alone to rest. You didn't rest though you sat in bed and held the necklace and thought about how you felt about it. You loved it and wanted to say more than just thank you to him but didn't know exactly what to say. You thought about Draco, his voice saying 'I love you' and all the other things you heard his voice say but his mouth wasn't moving, it hadn't moved when you heard him say all these things. 

You thought maybe your mother might know, you figured it was something with your gift. You knew it could get stronger, mother always said Grandmother Flower's gift was very strong and you could get there one day. Maybe this was your powers getting stronger. You decided you were going to see your parents this weekend after your first week back in classes. You also wanted to test to see if it was part of it or if there was something else going on. 

You knew you had missed a lot but you couldn't shake the feeling that there was way more to this than you thought.
