It had been a few weeks since the letter and Snape and all of it. You've tried to go on as normal. You didn't go near the Slytherin common room and Draco was moved to all your classes, sitting next to you. It was for your protection. It didn't matter if you and Draco pretended to break up, she would go after you.

Draco said she acted normal and cheerful; it gave him the creeps. You felt if you could deep dive you could figure out what was going on, but it was impossible. All your friends were happy for you, Poppy and Penelope liked Draco, you were happy. Astoria was an afterthought until further notice.

Draco and you were still taking it slow; sleepovers were just sleepovers. But every time he slept over the more you were wanting to do more. You felt he did too.

It was a Tuesday, it was getting colder outside, getting close to Halloween. Draco and you sat together. Luna started joining you to eat more. Her and Penelope would talk for hours, they made the same puzzled faces at times too. You were paying attention to it, but nothing about it made you worry.

Poppy was talking to Draco about Quidditch and charms. You felt Astoria's gaze, like she wanted you to look. You tapped Draco's hand; you both didn't turn around. "Yeah, she's staring and so is Blaise." Said Poppy, she was looking for you. "Blaise?" You didn't feel his eyes. "I'm going to use the bathroom." Draco says and gets up. You were trying to ignore her, Draco said Blaise and her are now dating, and he's been acting super weird. Something didn't feel right.

Draco sat back down. "Yeah, he's there, she's pretty much sitting on him." You didn't feel his eyes, it was weird. You were searching, you barley felt any emotion or energy from him at all. You needed to tell Snape this. "Draco, I need to go to Snape's class for something really quick, will you walk me please?"

You weren't telling people about Astoria, all you said was she was trying to break you two up which wasn't surprising to anybody. People were surprised you two were dating but you brushed it off as normal. I mean besides the soulmate thing; it was going normally.

You speed walk to Snape's classroom in silence. Draco wondering what was going on. Snape was at his desk writing when you came in. "Snape," you say as soon as you enter and make your way to his desk. "Astoria and Blaise were just staring at us at breakfast but I couldn't feel Blaise. His eyes, his energy, or any emotion from him." Snape became confused and there was a slight concern.

"Draco what have been the whereabouts and activities of Mr. Zabini the past few days or weeks?"

"I heard they're dating, and they looked like they were today. He's anywhere she is, and he's acting weird like he's not there." Snape thought, his emotions didn't change, but they did become a little bigger. "Go class, act as normal. Draco you may want to sleep in Y/N dorms until further notice. I suggest when she is not there, move your important things to Hufflepuff." You walked out of the classroom and headed to your first class of the day.

"When are you going to move everything?" You ask him. You were excited for him to stay in your room for a while. He was too. But you were both keeping your composure. "I was thinking about going this class, then meeting you back after I'm done." Draco walks you to class and kisses you goodbye.

During lunch Mysteria sat with Poppy and Penelope. Penelope and Mysteria were whispering about something the whole time. Something about it made you want to keep an eye on them.
