"Barry Johnson, 57. Seems to have had some kind of existential crisis after lunch." An officer tells us. "Falls 20 stories and lives."

"20 stories? How is that even possible?" Eddie asks.

"I have no clue." I say as I look up at the building.

"We also got a few greedy bystanders with minor injuries."

"That's up to the cap." Hen says.

"Uh, interim captain." Buck corrects.

"Listen, this is just temporary until Bobby comes back." I say as the four of us look at Chim.

With Bobby being suspended, Chim was our new captain until Bobby could come back. And I'll just say, it was very different.

"Whoa." Eddie whispers as we walk over to Barry.

"All right, I'll take spinal precaution." Chim says.

As he walks over, we all look at him confused.

"Right, I'm the captain. Uh, Hen, Lia, Eddie, you go with him. Buck, go with John. Triage the minor injuries. And I'll get the jaws." He says.

"Let's really hope this won't last a while." I whisper.

"You and me, Lia. You and me." Hen sighs.

"All right, Barry. I'm gonna give you something for the pain, okay?" I tell him.

"It'll take the edge off, but you're probably still gonna feel this." Eddie explains.

"Can you just knock me out?" He groans.

"Sorry, we need you to stay with us." Hen says.

"Compound fracture, both legs." I say as I look at his legs. "Hasn't lost bowel control either."

"Barry, these are all positive things. Means your spine's probably okay." I hear Eddie tell him.

"This morphine is a positive thing too, I guess." He laughs.

"Barry, is there anything else you can tell us?" I ask.

"My wife left me, my kids hate me, and my only friend is suing me. Next time, I'm going head first."

"Okay..." I mutter.

"You had all the money though. Why'd you throw it out the window? Pun unintended." Eddie says.

"That money ruined my life. A year ago, I thought  it solved all my problems. Just multiplied them." Barry explains.

"What happened last year?" Hen asks.

"I won the lottery." He tells us.

"Careful what you wish for." I chuckle.

"Lia, hey."

"I'm not bothering you, am I?" I ask.

"No, no, no, come in."

After last shift with Chim being interim captain, I needed to talk to Bobby.

"When are you coming back?"

"Uh, I don't know if I will, even." He says as he hands me a cup of coffee.

"Thats ridiculous." I say.

Bobby looks at me as we sit down at his table.

"Sorry, sorry. We just, we need you back, Bobby." I tell him. "It's just not the same without you."

"We're doing lineups now?"

"Stow it, Buckley." Chim snaps.

"Seriously, Chim?" I ask.
