I was looking forward to reading this book. The teasers by the author really hooked me. When I read the excerpt, I started dreaming about getting this first. As far as I know, next month pa ang labas ng librong ito! Paanong mayroon kaagad copy si Ristan?
"Check the pages; I didn't have time to make sure it was in good condition."
Sinunod ko ang sinabi niya. I smiled widely when I found the author's signature! Woah. Did he get this personally?
"How did you do this? Next month pa ang labas nito, hindi ba? And... did you talk to the author personally?" sa manghang tinig.
"You can say that... I'm very good friends with Dorotheo Drovozky," he said, still smiling.
Binitiwan ko ang libro at tumayo. Mabilis na tumuwid si Ristan nang makita ang ginawa ko at tinaas ang mga braso niya, nag-aabang sa yakap ko.
"Thank you! I'm so happy!" I said happily and jumped on him.
I almost heard him smile. His arms snaked around my waist. Pumikit ako at hinigpitan ang pagkakayakap sa kaniya. Malaki ang ngiti ko, sobrang saya sa regalo niya.
Tapos na ang birthday ko kaya hindi ko alam kung para saan ang regalong ito. But regardless, I'm really happy.
