"Dev, you go to the room. I will talk to Abhi by myself right now," Naina said to Dev in a firm voice. He simply nodded his head and quietly went towards their room, while Naina took a deep breath and slowly walked in the direction of Abhimanyu's room.

She knocked gently at his door. "Abhi, may I come in?" she asked, noticing that he was deeply engrossed in his file. Abhi lifted his head at the sound of her voice and was surprised to see his mother standing at the door.

"Mom, why are you asking for my permission? Just come inside," Abhi said softly as he placed the file carefully on the bed.

Naina stepped in, hesitating for a moment before speaking. "Abhi, I need to talk to you about something important... something related to Aarohi."

Abhi's expression grew serious. "What do you want to say, mom?" he asked directly.

"Abhi, today Sharmila aunty and Kajal came home with a marriage proposal. They brought a rishta of Aditya for Aarohi, and I want you to convince her for this marriage. Beta, she won't get a better groom than Adi. We have known him for a long time, and we also know the Goenka family very well," Naina explained carefully.

Abhimanyu was shocked at this sudden revelation. He stared at her in disbelief. "But mom, isn't Aarohi too young to get married? That too before Maya and me? I know Aditya is a good guy, I respect him, but still... it's too early for her. At least let her complete her studies first." His tone carried genuine concern for his sister.

Naina remained quiet for a few seconds, then sighed before replying. "Abhi, it's your grandmother and your dad's decision. You know very well that I can't interfere in their word. I may have failed as a mother to Aarohi I know I have neglected her a lot and never stood up for her but still, she is my daughter, and I truly believe this alliance will be good for her." Her voice faltered slightly as she tried to express her feelings.

"Abhi, think wisely. Tomorrow morning we are going to inform Aarohi about this proposal, and I want you to stand by your parents' side." With those words, Naina rose from her seat and walked slowly towards the door.

Abhimanyu didn't reply. He just sat there in silence, his heart heavy with worry about how his little sister would react to this news. He knew very well how much Aarohi disliked being pressured, and this decision could shatter her completely.
