The next day
at Sharma House

Only three days were left for Adirohi’s engagement, and after yesterday’s happenings, the entire Sharma House felt disturbed, especially Aarohi. Her mind was still restless, but today she had plans to go shopping with her best friend, Nandini, hoping to get some distraction.

“Aaru, hurry up or we’ll get late!” Nandini called out for the tenth time, her patience running thin.

“Nandini, just one minute, please! I’m coming!” Aarohi replied as she rushed down the staircase, almost stumbling midway.

“Careful, girl! You’re getting engaged in three days!” Nandini scolded softly, her voice laced with concern.

“Let’s go!” Aarohi hurried out with her bestie, brushing off the incident.

Soon, they arrived at Pacific Mall, bustling with wedding shoppers.

“Aaru, first let’s get your lehenga,” Nandini suggested, dragging her straight to a bridal boutique.

After rejecting multiple outfits with her signature annoyed expressions, Aarohi finally settled on a lehenga in her favourite colour—pink.

“Huff! Finally! Thank God you picked one at last. I was so done with your cranky reactions to every beautiful dress,” Nandini sighed in relief, only to earn a sharp glare from Aarohi.

“You know pink is my favourite colour, so obviously I wouldn’t settle for anything else,” Aarohi defended herself with folded arms.

Just then, Aditya and Rajveer appeared from the other side of the store. Coincidentally, they were at the mall for Aditya’s sherwani shopping.

Aditya had been reluctant to come, as he had urgent office work, but his mother’s emotional blackmail forced him to agree. Fate, however, had other plans, and here he was face-to-face with Aarohi.

Rajveer, seizing the moment, mischievously suggested that Aditya should get a sherwani matching Aarohi’s lehenga colour.

“Aaru, did you finalise your outfit?” Rajveer asked casually, noticing his brother’s hesitation to ask directly.

Before Aarohi could respond, Nandini blurted out, “Yup, Veer! And it’s blush pink. Her obsession with pink is next level.” She smirked, only to get a playful smack on her hand from Aarohi.

“Oh no, now Bhai has to wear a blush pink sherwani to match Aaru’s outfit. Bhai, are you sure you’re okay with the colour?” Rajveer teased, trying hard not to laugh.

Aditya shot him a deadly glare that screamed shut up before I kill you.

“Blush pink isn’t a bad colour though. In fact, it will suit Jiju really well,” Nandini chimed in cheekily, while Aarohi tried to control the blush creeping up her cheeks.
