After playing a few more games, Kajal asked Kavya to take Aarohi to her and Aditya's room. On their way to the room, Kavya tried to tease her bhabhi, who was already pink due to constant blushing.
Meanwhile, Aditya was sitting in the hall with his father and brother, both of whom were busy discussing the preparations for tomorrow's function.
Kavya opened the door to Aditya's room and gently held Aarohi’s hand as she led her inside. Aarohi looked around curiously; the room was quite large and far more spacious compared to her previous one. A neatly arranged bookshelf stood in one corner, immediately catching her attention.
Her eyes then wandered towards the small bar counter in another corner of the room. She was surprised to see it completely empty, as if every bottle had been removed in a hurry.
“Actually, bhai generally stores his non-alcoholic and some alcoholic drinks there, but now he asked the servants to remove the bar from his room. I think it will be done properly by tomorrow,” Kavya explained, noticing the slightly furious expression flickering across Aarohi’s face.
“Bhabhi, you get changed and take some rest. Bhai will take a little while to come back into the room. And all the best!” Kavya winked mischievously, while Aarohi blushed even more at her sister-in-law’s notorious words. As soon as Kavya left, Aarohi sighed in relief.
“Ab kya karun main? Kaise face karungi main unhe? Relax Aarohi, tune koi crime nahi kiya hai jo tu itna darr rahi hai. Woh koi jailer nahi hai… but koi jailer se kam bhi nahi hai.”
[What should I do now? How should I face him? Relax Aarohi, no crime has been committed by you that you are so afraid of. He is not a jailer, but he is no less than a jailer.]
She was pacing back and forth across the room while mumbling to herself, her nervousness increasing with every passing moment. Suddenly, an idea struck her mind.
“Idea! Main turant change karke so jaati hoon. Unse baat hi nahi karna padega, aur subah ka subah hi dekha jaayega. I just hope he doesn’t return before I fall asleep. I’m definitely not in the mood to have a conversation with him… at least not today!”
[Idea! I will immediately change and go to sleep. I will not have to talk to him and will see him only in the morning. I just hope he doesn’t return before I go to sleep; I am definitely not in the mood to have a conversation with him, at least not today!]
Determined, Aarohi picked up her bag, took out her clothes, and went into the washroom to get changed. After a few minutes, she stepped out wearing her night suit. Just then, the door opened, and Aditya entered. Their eyes met for a fleeting moment before Aarohi quickly broke the contact, pretending to busy herself with folding her heavy lehenga. Aditya, however, stood there silently, watching her every little action.
