"Thank you so much, Aarohi, for coming here on such short notice even though you were on leave. I’m really sorry for troubling you, but I had a family emergency, so I had to leave early," Pallavi said gratefully, thanking Aarohi as the latter prepared to leave for her house.
"It’s alright, Pallavi. Just drive home safely and don’t forget to drop me a message once you reach, okay?" Aarohi replied with a gentle smile before turning back to finish up her work.
While she was engrossed in her tasks, her phone suddenly buzzed. She slipped it out of her pocket and noticed a new message. To her surprise, it was from Aditya. For a moment she froze, since he had never texted her before, despite the fact that they had exchanged numbers quite a long time ago. Curiosity building up, she unlocked the screen and read his message, her eyes widening slightly in surprise.
