Three weeks slipped away faster than anyone expected. Now, only a single week remained until Aditya and Aarohi’s wedding. Both households were bustling with excitement, chaos, and laughter as preparations for the big day continued in full swing. The walls echoed with chatter, clinking of jewelry, and the aroma of festive delicacies wafted through every corner.
But amidst this whirlwind of celebration, two hearts stood still. The very souls who were about to be bound in an unbreakable tie for life seemed emotionless, lost in thoughts too deep to share.
One of them Aarohi who was confused, her mind clouded with questions. Should she expect love and happiness from this new beginning? Would her life really change for the better, or was she stepping into the unknown blindly?
On the other hand, Aditya wrestled silently between his heart and his mind. His heart longed to embrace the connection he felt with Aarohi, but his mind kept reminding him of the walls he had built around himself. What fate had planned for them remained a mystery, but one thing was certain their story of entangled love was only just beginning.
That very day, the Sharma family and the Goenka family were set to come together to celebrate the much-awaited Sangeet ceremony at the Sharma residence. The house was decorated with fairy lights and vibrant drapes, glowing like a jewel under the evening sky. Soon, the ceremony was to begin, and the Goenka family had already arrived, filling the house with their presence and warmth.
Aditya, however, remained unusually quiet, his eyes wandering yet searching for something or someone. Meanwhile, his younger brother Rajveer, ever the entertainer, was busy bickering with Nandini as both their teams prepared for the dance-off: Team Groom versus Team Bride.
“Agar main jeeta toh tum puri shaadi mein mujhe ‘aap’ kehkar bulaogi,” Rajveer announced smugly, smirking at Nandini.
[If I win, you will call me with honorifics throughout the wedding.]
“Woh toh kabhi nahi hoga. Kyunki jeetungi toh main hi! Aur mere jeetne par tum mirchi ke pakode khaoge,” Nandini shot back, her smirk sharp enough to make Rajveer’s face lose its color at the mention of spicy chilli fritters.
[That will never happen. Because I will win! And if I win, you will eat chilli fritters.]
The guests laughed at their banter, amused by their silly yet adorable rivalry. Rolling her eyes at Rajveer’s exaggerated expressions, Nandini left to bring Aarohi at Naina’s request, but not without throwing one last glare his way.
