Aarohi woke up earlier than usual, knowing she had to leave for the parlour to get ready. Though she was excited, a wave of nervousness lingered in her heart. She couldn’t share this with anyone her brother and father were busy managing the arrangements at the banquet hall, while her mother and grandmother were occupied with wrapping and packaging gifts for the guests.
She sighed softly at the chaotic yet heartwarming scenario inside her house. Just then, her best friend Nandini arrived to pick her up. Nandini had insisted on accompanying her to the parlour so Aarohi wouldn’t feel alone on such a big day.
"Aaru and Nandini, reach the banquet on time," Naina reminded, glancing at her daughter with a smile full of emotions before sending them off. Aarohi nodded gently, hiding her nervousness, and soon the girls left for the parlour.
