You grabbed a glass and began making your way to the sink. "I can help you with that" Sanji offered running over to you. You had already began filling the glass. A laugh escaped your lips. "Sanji I've been blind all my life, I've got this".
"Need any help?" Usopp shouted over to you as you were trying to add bait to the end of a fishing road. You shook your head "no thanks" you smiled, continuing your task.
"I can help you know" Zoro huffed as you fumbled to open the hatch to the crows nest. "I could have got that!" you playfully replied, climbing down.
"Hey if you need help ask" Nami scolded as you fiddled with the shower nobs. "Thanks Nami" you sighed, allowing the warm water to hit your body.
"Ah y/n I-". "No I don't need any help" you shouted, feeling suddenly very foolish for your outburst. "I know" the voice you recognised as Jinbe replied. "And I wasn't offering any".
You deflated feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, it's not-" you let out a frustrated sigh. "Everyone today has been treating me like I can't do anything, you know, it's annoying" you vented.
Jinbe listened and encouraged you to go on. "It's like, I can't do anything because, well, I'm blind". He was silent for a moment, you could hear his breathing and feel his warmth so you knew he hadn't left.
"I can not imagine your frustrations" he began. "Though this crew is one full of love". You cocked your eyebrow, unsure of where he was going with this.
"What I'm saying is, they will not be upset if you voice your concerns, it will be welcomed" he continued. "They would not want you to feel troubled by their actions, rather up lifted" he informed.
You knew he was right, his advice made sense, you should have told them from the start. "This is the only help I've appreciated all day" you joked, earning a big chuckle from Jinbe.
