A/N: I'm so sorry this is sooo short! I'm not the best at headcannons, I am so scared my headcannons go wildly away from the character lmao, but you asked and so you shall receive!!

Shachi • Shachi would be super outgoing, confident, he might even be a little flirty, and tease them, but if anyone ever caught on he'd be on the next train straight to deny-ville.
• Would probably seek his crush out as often as he can, even on island days!
• Wouldn't go out of his way to show he has a crush, but would do subtle things for them, like picking things up he thinks his crush would like, or letting them wear his hat for fun.
• If his crush ever asked for a favour he's on it immediately, he's a bit of a simp for them.
• If his crush liked him back, even if it was glaringly obvious, Shachi wouldn't know. He'd doubt himself and probably think there's no way his feelings would be reciprocated.
• Makes it his mission to learn everything he can about his crushes interests, because he will casually slide that into conversation later.
• When it comes to confessing I see it only going two ways. 1. Either his crush confronts him, because they caught on or someone else spills the beans, because Shachi planned on taking it to the grave.
• Or 2. Shachi was convinced by his friends to confess, and if it's this one, his usual confidence is probably taken down a peg, but he's still pretty smooth, at least that's what he tells Penguin.
• Really he was stumbling over his words and taking twice as long to explain something he could've said in 3 words.
• If his crush accepts and returns his feelings he'd be over the moon. He'd be seen with a smile everyday, and he'd be stuck to his partner. He'd probably brag a little bit, but deep down he'd be confused as to why you'd like him. I see Shachi as having low self esteem.
• If his crush doesn't reciprocate his feelings, he's going to be really bummed, but in the moment he's not make his crush feel bad for it. He'd probably make sure to avoid his crush for a little while until he can try and move on. Though, his usual teasing nature is gone for a few days.
Penguin • Penguin is a little more shy with his approach, when he's interacting with his crush, his mind runs a mile a minute with little tips to not give himself away, so he acts a little cagey.
• He's still able to hold a conversation with his crush but he's constantly scolding himself if he makes too much eye contact or says something too complimentary.
• Like Shachi he'd probably tease his crush a little bit, but that's because he does with most of the crew, so it's pretty normal for him to do so.
• He will not try and seek his crush out, he'd just let interactions happen naturally, but if they're ever in the same room, he will be taking glances at his crush as much as he can without seeming suspicious.
• If alone and his crush is over the over side of the room, he'd practically drool staring at his crush, with a lovestruck smile and a small blush, and if he's caught; immediate embarrassment.
• I think Penguin's a lot more in tune with his emotional side, so I think he'd spend a lot of time daydreaming about how he could confess, or what it'd be like to date his crush.
• I think due to how aware he is of his own actions he'd pick up a change in his crush if they ever acted differently towards him, and he might find it easier to convince himself his crush likes him back.
• He'd probably battle in his head for a while about confessing, but I think eventually he'd decide to do it himself.
• When it comes to confessing I think he'd ask if he could talk to his crush somewhere, and then just lay it out. No stuttering, or blushing or embarrassment. Just being very real and straight to the point.
• If his crush accepted and felt the same, I can see Penguin being very relieved, but overly happy. I think he'd be happier to show all the signs he was scared of before, like lingering too long on his crush, or laughing too hard at a joke.
• If his crush didn't feel the same however I think he'd be totally crushed. He'd probably say something like 'oh' and run off, and avoid you for a while. He might even confide in Shachi, but people aboard would notice he's different.
