The day you married Paulie was the best of your life. You can still remember the day like it eas yesterday. The music, flowers and people. Of course with Paulie having so much debt, you got married on a budget, at the dockyard but it was perfect.
You remembered Paulie getting emotional, not that he'd admit that, and every moment since that day had been perfect. He was rough around the edges and would get a bit crazy at some of the clothes you wore but neither of you really minded.
It was a sunny day when you decided you'd bring him some lunch down to the dock. You were wearing one of those outfits that Paulie would blow a gasket over, but you didn't mind all that much, you kind of enjoyed getting him so worked up.
As you were packing his lunch you made sure to do all his favourites, as a little apology for the scene you were about to cause. You wrapped it up all nicely into a lunch box and walked over to the dockyard.
You could hear everybody at work before you could see them, you entered with a smile. "Hey" you called out to Paulie, seeing him with his cigar hanging out his mouth. "Hey- what the hell!" He gasped as he turned seeing you.
"What?" You innocently questioned, noticing the slight blush on his face. "You can't wear that here. We're men at work.. you really want the others to stare at you.. come on. Go home. Go change right now" he ranted on and on.
"But I brought you lunch" you smiled, holding the box out. He looked it over and sighed. "Thanks.. but you still need to go home and change" he grumbled out. "Oh my is that y/n".
You turned noticing Iceburg approaching. "Oh wow hey long time no see" you greeted. You hadn't been down to the dock in a while, but by extension of Paulie you had become closer to Iceburg too.
"Oh wow is that tyrannosaurus, he's getting so big" you cooed at the mouse in his front pocket. "Yes it is, he's quite big now". You leant in and petted the little mouse, almost baby talking to him as you did.
"Love these sandw-" Paulie paused noticing the way you were leant forward, stroking the little mouse, but he didn't like it one bit. He strode over and stood behind you so nobody could look up your, kinda long skirt, but in his mind it might as well have been a mini skirt.
"I told you to go home didn't I" he groaned, trying to pry you away from Iceburg, he didn't even notice the mouse. "I know but I got distracted by this cute guy" you gestured in front of you.
"WHAT!" Paulie shouted, getting flustered. "The mouse.." you pointed at Tyrannosaurus. He visibly calmed when he realised you were talking about Iceburg's weird pocket mouse and not Iceburg himself. "You're welcome to come play with him anytime" Iceburg spoke up. You nodded.
Paulie internally groaned. "Don't say things like that to my wife". Then he turned you around. "And you, go HOME".
