• A super fun Dad, like yeah that's his kid, but also that's his bestie, they will do everything together, • only really disciplines if they're doing something stupid that could result in them getting hurt, • Wants his child to be a pirate so bad, like at the point it's a need not a want! • He will teach his child to be strong, and hold their own, but he won't force training on them, • Shows his child off to everyone he's ever met, like oh he's reunited with an old ally, have you met my child! • Will literally hunt down and fight anyone who makes his child cry, or if someone hurts his child, oh boy, • Loves to watch their bounty grow, he's so proud, and he loves watching his crew interact with his child, • He'd love if his child looked like him, but if they looked like their mother, he'd love that even more, • Still won't share his food, even if it's his own child, • Absolutely cackles, hand on tummy bent over, can't breathe kind of laughter if his child stacks it, even when his partner scolds him for it, he can't help it, it's hilarious! • If his baby is ever fussy or upset he'll try to make them laugh by stretching his face and mouth, • If he ever gets Shanks' blessing, that strawhat is going to his child next!
It was another day aboard the Sunny, everyone was busy doing their duties and what not, and you were sat on deck trying to feed a fussy toddler, who wasn't having any of what Sanji had cooked.
"Hey, we don't waste food" Luffy frowned. "If you don't eat it, I will.. in fact" Luffy stepped forward to grab the plate of food. You placed a hand on his chest, stopping him. "Wait that's a good idea, sit down and let me pretend to feed you" you grinned.
Luffy nodded and took a seat next you and watched very carefully as you put some food on the end of a fork. "Ready, ahh" you spoke to Luffy leaning forward and feeding him. Luffy happily took the food. "Mm delicious" Luffy looked to his son who had stopped fussing.
"See Daddy likes it" you cooed, loading up a fork for your son, who after seeing Luffy love it, happily ate it. You sighed in relief with a smile, continuing to feed him each mouthful until he finished. "Good job, you did great" Luffy smiled affectionately at your son. "Now we can play" He continued, unbuckling him from his makeshift high chair, courtesy of Franky's crafting skills.
"Take it easy, he's just eaten" you warned, knowing that those words weren't in Luffy's dictionary. "Yeah yeah, I know" he laughed, grabbing your son placing him on the floor, running off to play with him. Now that he could walk, it was even more fun.
"Oops nearly forgot" Luffy turned back, leant in a gave you a quick peck as he then chased back after his child. You sat back with a smile, watching as Luffy, Usopp, your son and Chopper all played on deck.
