Early 2022
"Goal!" Melissa shouts as she runs around the backyard with Estela in her arms.
Pablo stands a bit away from the a wide smile on his face as he watches his two girls celebrate their goal against him. The loud giggles from his daughter, along with the cheerful shouts from his girlfriend, filling his ears.
Slowly down, Melissa sets down her 1 year old and watches as she waddles her way happily to her dad who gracefully took her into his arms still giggling her little heart out.
"You beat me, Bebe." He smiles at her, resting her on his left hip.
Melissa jogs her way over to them, Pablo greeting her with his open arm, as he wraps it around her waist and instant pulls her closer to him.
She reaches her arms up, wrapped them around his neck, pulling him slightly down so she could press her lips to his cheek for a quick peck.
"That means where better then, Papi, Estela!" Melissa tells the baby once she pulls away.
Estela lets out another fit of loud giggles before resting her head down on Pablo's shoulder.
Pablo leans down and presses a few feathered kisses to her forehead. "Vas hacer la mejor futbolista en el mundo, mi estrella." He tells her.
Melissa rest her head on Pablo other shoulder, watching the interaction between the father and daughter. Her heart fluttering at how cute it was.
She loved moments like these. Moments where they were nothing but a normal family having fun in their back yard.
No
No hiding for the public. no fear that anyone was watching them. It was just her and her little family.
Her normal family.
"Estas bien, mi Vida?" She tilts her head up at her boyfriend words and she nods.
"I like it this way." She whispers.
Pablo smiles at her knowing that she was referring to how normal everything felt when it was just the 3 of them.
"Yeah?" She nods.
Pablo leans down and presses his lips to her for a few seconds before pulling away.
Both their eyes divert to the little girl who was falling asleep in his arms.
"Just us and our little secret."
