"Minji? I'm home!" You called out as you walked into the house. "I have something for you! Are you almost ready to go to dinner?"

The smile on your face was as bright as can be but the second you saw that Minji hadn't come home alone, your smile faded.

You saw the other four members staring at you, looking just as confused as you.

"What's going on?" You asked Minji as you set your bag down, the surprise you had for her still behind your back.

"I'm hanging out with the girls. What does it look like?" She replied.

"Oh." You quietly said. "I got you these."

You put the bouquet of flowers on the arm of the sofa.

"Oh, Minji! They're so pretty!" Danielle smiled. "What a lucky girl you are to have such an amazing and thoughtful girlfriend."

"Y/N? What were you saying when you walked through the door? Something about dinner?" Hanni asked.

"You brought dinner? Good. I'd like that much more than these flowers." Minji replied and your heart dropped a little.

"Minji!" Haerin said before reaching out to lightly hit her arm, just enough to let her know to knock it off.

"I was talking about how Minji and I were supposed to go to dinner tonight."

"What? Minji never mentioned that to us." Hanni frowned.

"Yeah, if she had, we wouldn't have come over here today," Danielle said.

"It's not a big deal. It's just a stupid dinner." Minji quietly mumbled.

"Stupid? That's what you think of the dinner we planned to share for our first anniversary?" You asked and the sadness was evident in your voice.

"Minji, stop. That's not cool. This is no ordinary dinner, it's your anniversary!" Danielle said.

"We should probably go. We'll let you two get ready and hopefully, you can still get to your dinner in time!" Haerin said.

"Don't go. I'd rather hang out with you guys." Minji said.

"Rather than your girlfriend on your first anniversary?" You scoffed at your girlfriend. "I can't believe you."

"I had a long day, Y/N. I don't feel like going out tonight. I'd rather hang out with the girls. It's not that big of a deal. Quit being a whiny baby about it." Minji grumbled.

Not only did you stare at her in disbelief, but so did her members.

This was so unlike Minji and they almost couldn't believe it was the same person sitting there beside them.

"What did you just call me?"

Minji sighed before standing up.

"A whiny baby. That's how you're acting right now. You don't get your way because I don't feel like going out tonight so you're embarrassing me in front of my friends?"

"I don't think she needs to. You're embarrassing yourself in front of us enough on your own right now." Hyein spoke.

"Great. Now they're siding with you. Happy?"

"No, I'm not happy! I'm very upset. I feel like I don't see you very often because you're so busy so tonight, I figured that since it's our anniversary, I'd have you all to myself!"

"You know how busy I am and how worn out I get. I'm exhausted! God, if you can't be understanding about that then I don't see how we'll ever make it to our second anniversary!"

"Minji," Hanni gasped. "That's so uncalled for."

"And so untrue. Y/N is the most supportive girlfriend ever. She loves you so much." Danielle said.

"Yeah, well, sometimes she's also the most annoying girlfriend ever," Minji said as she looked back at you.

"Fine. If that's how you feel, then maybe I'll just leave. Maybe I'll just go pack my stuff and move out and you don't have to deal with me anymore. Then you'd be happy, right?" You asked before shaking your head and rushing up the stairs, sobbing as you went.

"Y/N, wait!" Hanni said as she went up a couple of steps, only to turn around to look at Minji with a glare, just like the other girls were doing.

"That was awful. How dare you talk to her that way!" Haerin said.

"I know people cry on their anniversaries but it's supposed to be out of happiness and love. You just made your girlfriend sob, Minji! You broke her heart. Why were you so mean to her?" Danielle asked.

"I don't know. Because I'm in a bad mood and I'm an idiot!" Minji said as she sat on the sofa, burying her head in her hands.

"Usually, I'd tell you that you're not, but today I can't do that. You were such an idiot." Hyein said.

"You better go up there right now and beg her for forgiveness!" Hanni said as she pointed to the staircase. "I'm serious, Minji. You owe her a huge apology. But if she can't forgive you, I can't say I disagree with her choice."

Minji hung her head as the guilt and sadness set in.

She'd messed up so badly.

And she didn't know how she was ever going to get you to forgive her for it.
