you return home from a trip and you're jet-lagged (requested)

Minji looked around for you as she stood in the airport, ignoring the looks from other people who passed by as well as the occasional camera flash from people who recognized her.

She didn't care about any of them.

She was waiting for you.

You went on a trip with your friends for a few days, a vacation that was much-needed and well-deserved after saving up the money for so long and working so hard.

It was a vacation of your dreams and you have had the time of your life and Minji was so happy for you.

But she's also very happy that you're almost home.

She's missed you so much.

For another moment, she waited as she heard that your flight had finally landed and she was so excited to see you that she could hardly even contain her excitement.

And then, she finally saw you and she called out for you right away.

"Y/N!"

You looked at her the second you heard her voice and you used the very little energy that you had to run over to her.

You threw your arms around her and she spun you around happily.

"I've missed you! How was your trip?"

"It was fun but I missed you a lot." You said as she pulled away.

She saw the tired look in your eyes and a frown appeared on her face.

"You look exhausted."

"I feel pretty jet-lagged." You sighed. "I'm just so tired."

"Let's go home."

You nodded and she helped you with your bags before walking out of the airport with you.

On the ride home, you told her all about your trip and the fun you had with your friends, who decided to take a later flight back that day because they wanted to stay just a little longer while you were ready to get home.

Minji smiled as she listened to you go on and on about everything though she could tell you were completely exhausted as you kept your head on her shoulder and your hand in hers.

When you were just a couple minutes away from home, you started to fall asleep and Minji just smiled and kissed your head.

When the car pulled into the driveway, Minji thanked the driver and woke you so you could get out of the car and into the house.

She grabbed your bags and helped you inside as you dragged your feet from exhaustion.

"Are you hungry or thirsty at all? Is there anything I can do for you?" She asked once you were both inside.

She turned the lock on the door and set your bags on the floor before you took her hand.

"I just want some cuddles. It's been a few days since I've had some and I missed cuddling with you."

You watched her smile at you before she kissed your cheek.

"Come on, let's go up to bed then. You can rest for a while."

"I'm so tired I don't know if I can even make it up the stairs." You mumbled as you walked to the staircase.

"You can. I'm right here, I'll help you."

It was clear to Minji that you were very fatigued and since she's had more than her fair share of trips that have left her jet-lagged before, she just wanted to comfort you and help you get some rest.

Once you were in bed, you let out a sigh of relief.

"Wasn't your bed at the hotel you and your friends stayed in comfortable?" She wondered.

"It was very comfortable. But our bed is better. It's where you hold me close and our blankets are so cozy and fluffy and your scent lingers everywhere. It was comfortable but this is home and I love it."

She laid down beside you and pulled you into her arms before lovingly kissing your head.

"I got a couple of things for you and the girls too."

"They'll love and appreciate that so much and I know I do too."

You closed your heavy eyes.

"I had so much fun. Being with my friends and just being able to catch up and enjoy some warm weather and do all of these activities that I just loved so much was incredible. It was a trip and an adventure of a lifetime..."

You paused as you breathed in her scent with a smile.

"But it is so good to be home."

"I'm happy you're home. I know you needed that vacation and I'm so glad you had so much fun but the bed was cold and the house was too quiet and empty without you."

"Now that I'm back, don't let me go." You sleepily mumbled against her skin.

"I won't, darling. Not ever."
