The sound of a knock on your front door made you turn away from your favorite comfort show.

For a moment you considered ignoring it in hopes that it was unimportant and that whoever was there would just leave you be.

You've had a long day and all you want is to be able to relax and unwind with your comfort show and favorite food while staying in your coziest pajamas.

But the knocking only got louder and more incessant as the person on the other side of the door grew more impatient.

Setting the takeout box on the table, you got up from the sofa and made your way to the front door.

"Fine, I'm coming. Give me a second." You tiredly grumbled.

Opening the door only a second later, you came face to face with Minji and before you could say a word, she walked right by you.

"Minji, what's going on?"

You closed the door and sat down on the sofa again before she sat down next to you.

"I did it."

"Did what?"

You felt her soft hand take hold of yours as her brown eyes sparkled brightly.

You tried to pull your hand away from hers and prepared to remind her that you just couldn't do this because she's still in a relationship.

But she spoke before you even had the chance.

"I broke up with her."

You were taken aback by the words that fell from her lips.

You and Minji have known each other for a while but recently, you confessed your feelings for each other.

Minji wanted to be yours right away.

She asked you out, swearing to give you everything you ever wanted and had ever dreamt of, and that she'd treat you like a queen.

But you reminded her that she was already in a relationship and unless things ended between them, you couldn't date.

"You did?"

"Yeah. I told her that it just wasn't going to work. My heart belongs to you and I couldn't give her the things she wants when I would always be wanting and thinking of you."

Her hand fell against your cheek ever so gently and you looked at her as your mind went in two directions.

You felt bad for her now ex-girlfriend, because you know that she was smitten with Minji, understandably.

But you felt relieved too.

You've been dreaming of this moment for so long and it means everything to you knowing that, at last, she's finally yours.

"How'd she take it?"

"She was upset. But I know I did the right thing. I would just be lying and leading her on otherwise and that's not right."

You looked into her eyes and saw what you were sure was a look of uncertainty.

But not about leaving her ex, rather that she wondered how you were feeling.

"Please tell me that I get to be yours now." She said, almost pleading. "And that you're mine. Because I've waited so long, Y/N. I need to hear you say it."

Your arms suddenly wrapped around her neck and when she saw your eyes sparkle, it almost made her heart burst.

"I'm yours."

Her eyes closed and a breath of relief escaped her lips, making you chuckle.

"I also know that it couldn't have been easy to do that."

"Well, when you know something's right, you should go for it. I've been waiting and dreaming of being with you for so long and this was the right way to do it. Now, we can be together."

Not only did it show you that she truly wanted to be with you, but it also provided another layer of trust.

She could've easily lied or cheated but being the genuinely good person that she is, she chose to be honest and do things the right way.

Seeing that you were a little lost in your thoughts, she caressed your cheek with her thumb and put her lips on yours.

And as sparks flew all around you, you happily kissed her back.

The kiss was more incredible than any other you've ever experienced before, because it was one you've been dreaming of for so long and it was with your dream girl, making you melt.

You were just about to pull her closer and beg her to never let you go when she suddenly pulled back.

"What?"

She bit her lip and looked you up and down.

"You look so cute and cozy. Your teddy bear pajamas are very fluffy and irresistible." She said, starting to smile widely.

You playfully hit her arm as she laughed.

"I didn't know you'd be coming over. I was just going to have a cozy night to myself. I ordered takeout, turned on my comfort show, grabbed my fluffiest blankets, and changed into these."

"To make yourself feel better, baby?" She asked as she put her hands on your sides.

You nodded and met her eyes again.

"Well, now you don't have to be sad. Because now, we're together."

You watched her beautiful eyes light up, looking as bright as yours.

"Mind if I join you for a cozy night?"

"Yeah. We can snuggle under the blankets and watch TV."

"Sounds great! And I'll order some new, fresh takeout for us to share. I interrupted your dinner and this way, we can have a cozy night together, maybe make it a first date." She suggested.

"I think that would be an amazing first date." You grinned and kissed her again, making her smile against your lips before she pulled you closer, swearing to never let you go again.
