you get annoyed when she teases you for being short (requested)

"Hey, my love. What smells so good in here?" Minji asked as she came up behind you.

Her arms wrapped around you and a loving kiss was pressed against your shoulder as you stirred the food in the pan.

"I'm glad you think it smells good because this is something new that I'm making and I thought it was coming out wrong but I think it's coming along pretty well."

"I agree. It smells amazing." She spoke and kissed your shoulder once more.

She waited for you to spin around and pucker your lips for a kiss like you always do when she arrives home.

Even when you're cooking, you always ask her for a kiss or two when she first gets home because you always miss her when she's gone, even if it's only for the day.

You went to grab your phone as it vibrated on the counter but before you got the chance to, Minji grabbed it and held it out of your reach.

"Oh, I'm sorry, baby. Do you need this?"

"Yes, I do. Can I have it back?" You asked and Minji pretended to think about it for a second before shaking her head.

"No, I don't think I can give it back to you. But you can try and grab it if you want to."

You stood on your tiptoes to try and reach for it but Minji just held it up even higher.

"I can't grab it." You whined.

"You can't? Why? Are you too short, baby?"

You pouted your lips at her and usually she'd melt and give your phone right back to you.

But today, she felt playful and wanted to tease you a little.

"Go on. Reach higher." She giggled as you tried to reach and grab it from her but you failed each time you tried because your arms weren't long enough and you were much too short.

"Minji, stop. Give it back, please." You pleaded. "I can't reach it and you know that already. Please stop tormenting me and give it back."

"Let me think about it... no." She chuckled. "I mean, it wouldn't be such a problem if you weren't so short."

You rolled your eyes in annoyance.

"I'm surprised you can even reach the stove with how small you are. Maybe if I get you a stepstool, then you can reach it if I hold it up like this, right?" She joked as she held your phone up out of your reach again.

But you didn't see it as a joke.

You usually have a good attitude about her teasing you because you know at the end of the day that she's only messing with you because she loves you.

But today, you're just annoyed with it.

You turned the stove off and moved the pan to a burner that hadn't been turned on before storming out of the kitchen and into the living room.

"Baby? What's the matter?" Minji asked as she followed you into the living room.

You were sitting on the sofa with your arms folded across your chest and your jaw clenched.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." You mumbled.

"It doesn't seem like nothing. You seem upset."

"Gee, why would I be upset? It's not like my girlfriend was making fun of me or anything."

Minji looked hurt by your words because she would never make fun of you.

She only playfully teases you and she never intends to hurt your feelings.

"I wasn't making fun of you." She said. "I wasn't meaning to, anyways. Is that how you feel about it? Because I would never make fun of you and I'd never want to hurt your feelings."

"I know." You sighed. "It's just that you make a lot of jokes about me being short and you tease me a lot for it. Some days I'm okay with it, other times it gets to be too much."

"Baby, you can tell me when I'm crossing the line. I need to know these things because I would never want to make you feel bad about anything. I only tease you because I love you."

"I know, baby. It's just that I've heard the short jokes my whole life. Sometimes I don't mind them and other times I hate them."

She put her hand on your thigh and when you looked at her, she sent you a small smile.

"I understand and I'm so sorry if I hurt your feelings."

"You didn't. You just annoyed the crap out of me."

She laughed and you couldn't help but do the same when you thought about how quickly and easily you confessed that to her.

"I'm sorry for annoying you. No more teasing or joking with you about your height for a while, okay? Until you tell me that you're in the mood for it."

"Okay. Thank you for being so understanding about it."

She leaned in and kissed the corners of your lips before brushing a strand of hair behind your ear.

"It's no problem. Here."

She handed your phone to you and when it was back in your hands, you leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, causing a smile to pull at her lips.

"Want to go finish dinner together?" She asked as she got up and held her hand out for you to take, which you happily did.

"Okay."

She walked back into the kitchen with you and kissed your head softly before you continued making dinner with a little help and company from her.

Now that she wasn't annoying you with all of those short jokes, you were in a much better mood and looked forward to eating a new delicious meal with her.
