More countries were signing on to the proposal, in addition to Canada, the US, Belize and Guatemala. Now Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Barbados wanted to join the union. The drafting began of a charter.

The delegates acted carefully as they wanted to get this right.

"I have an idea!" said the Canadian Diplomat, and he continued "We enshrine the right to life and healthcare"

This motion passed. However the Republicans objected to it.

Alex spoke "We enshrine the right to fair trial, free speech with limitations on hate speech, freedom of the press,religion, and expression. We should also enshrine a right to privacy with limitations.Abortion should be legal up to 24 weeks in all countries. This law takes precedence over any national law"

This motion passed, the United States had already overturned the Dobbs decision by passing a constitutional amendment that put abortion up to 24 weeks.

The Canadian diplomat spoke "LGBTQ rights should be protected"

This motion passed but it was somewhat close.

The Mexican diplomat said "their should be an alliance between all members "

This was a unanimous vote.

The Guatemalan Diplomat spoke next "Our country has been facing a problem with gangs can we form a North American Guard to fix this."

Alex spoke "We should protect the right to a fair trial in a North American court which will be the highest court of member nations".

The Mexican diplomat spoke again "We have already begun establishing a common passport for member nations who meet the requirements, our drug war is almost complete. Soon we will meet the requirements."

"Excellent" Alex said "Meeting adjourned".

It was also decided that Ottawa, Canada would be the capital of the union.
