By the end of April, Fort Liberté, Ferrier, Capotille, Boucan Guillaume were captured by the NAU. At the beginning of May, Fond Parisien and up to Mirebalais was captured.
By the middle of May, the line from the east of Cap-Haïtien to Mirebalais was secured and became the front line.
Great fighting took place for Cap-Haïtien, which was fully surrounded on the 20th of May. Soon A narrow line from Limbe to Gonaïves was captured, and cutting off the northern peninsula of Haiti.
By June 1st the Northern Peninsula and Tortuga island were captured.
A naval landing on June 3rd near Carrefour cut off Port-au-Prince, surrounding it and captured a line to Jacmel cutting off the southern peninsula.
By the 10th, the southern beachhead was connected to the Dominican border.
And by the 20th the entire southern Peninsula was captured. Cap-Haïtien fell on the 25th and Port-au-Prince on the 27th. The Axis Junta surrendered and Haiti was entirely occupied.
