Alex made a speech from his office, he clipped an American flag pin to his suit. And stood in front of the TV lights and the announcement began.
Alex began :
"In light of the recent events taking place in the Republic of Haiti, such as the coup and then the gang takeover, it has been decided by members of the Union and the UN that a response is needed. Today April 21st, 2057, will mark the day of an undertaking that will hopefully end gang violence in Haiti for good. I regretfully announce a Special Military Operation on the Illegitimate and Inhumane Axis Junta Government of Haiti. At this moment troops are crossing the border from the Dominican Republic to end the chaos. This is a peacekeeping operation, and thus the occupation will only last until a stable and democratic government can be established which we estimate will take two years. After this we will withdraw most personnel and only leave some to fight remaining gangs. Thank You and long Live the Union! "
