In Ottawa, Delegates from Canada, the US, Belize and Guatemala. Now Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Barbados met and prepared to sign the treaty to form the North American Union.
The treaty Read:
In order to form a world of freedom and peace. The North American Nations that acceded to this treaty will lose the right to : Their own currency and passport. They will remain independent nations as this union will be a super national one similar to the European Union. The North American Union(NAU) is therefore applied to the states that sign. Member states shall follow the NAU laws as higher than their own laws and the NAU court shall be the highest court in the Union. The leader of the Union shall be a Chancellor selected by Majority vote in a body called the North American Congress(NAC). The NAC shall pass laws that apply to all member states and have the right to determine the rules for admission of new member States. In order for a member state to join, it must meet the basic democratic requirements of the rule of law and free and fair elections. It must also be approved by all members. The NAU Court shall determine cases appealed from the top courts in each country and will also arbitrate disputes between member countries. The members of this treaty commit to: Free Speech and Expression , with the limitations on Hate Speech such as Nazism, Freedom of the Press, and Religion. The Right to marry regardless of gender and change one's gender shall be protected. A right to privacy as long as it is safe is also protected, as is the right to abortion up to 24 weeks of gestation. The Flag of the Union Shall be: a bar of mint green, with a white bar above, followed by a dark blue bar with a 5 pointed star in the center of the blue bar. The NAC shall have elections every four years, and each member state shall decide on the representative districts within their country every ten years based on a census. Every Man, Woman, and Person has the right to life and healthcare. Your rights however end when you take away the rights of others. Each Member state shall be a member of the North American Mutual Defense Association (NAMDA), which shall pledge to protect each nation in case of attack. There shall be a joint Guard called the North American guard that will help fight crime in every country. Every citizen of the Union will have the right to a fair and speedy trial and the right to not be searched and seized without a warrant.
The National Symbol of the Union shall be a the North Star. And the National bird shall be the eagle. The Motto of the Union shall be 'Together We Prosper'. Major National Heroes from member countries shall be featured on banknotes and coinage. The Anthem of the Union shall be a modified version of 'this land is your land'. The words of the Anthem shall be :
"This Land is Your land, This land is my land. From the Arctic Tundra,
to the southern isthmus,
From the Redwood Forests, to the Northwest Passage.
This land is made for you and me.
As I was gliding over the cloud top ,
I saw below me,
an endless prairie
This land was made for you and me"
This treaty shall be In perpetuity and all member who sign need a 65% majority in a referendum to withdraw from the Union.
The Headquarters of this Union and location of the Parliament shall be in Ottawa while the court shall meet in El Paso, Texas.
The Union is signed by all member states and will go into effect upon ratification by all member states founding the Union.
