You gasped, sword shaking in your hand, as Rohan cried those words out to you. Kill Jotaro? You'd been dreaming about this for months, but now that the sword was in your hand, it suddenly felt alien and strange to you. That wondrous kiss didn't help either, lowering your defences and making you realise that yes- you were head over heels in love with this evil, wonderful, wicked, amazing man. Jotaro looked down at the huddle of cops in riot gear at the foot of the crane, and sighed softly to himself.
"So this is where it all ends." He sighed.
"Jotaro, don't say that! I... We can get you a lawyer, you might be able to live!" You said, tears dribbling from your eyes. But Jotaro just sadly shook his head, pointing down to the police below.
"They'll open fire if we don't. I had this prophecy telling me I'd rule Tokyo until fish rained down from the sky- and looks below us." You looked down, to see crates of frozen fish dripping out of the shipping container, stinking to high heaven despite the cool, fragranced night air.
"It's over for me, y/n. I have no more allies left, no way to escape. And even if they let me live- I'll rot away in prison for the rest of my life. I'll either get shanked in a prison fight or slowly go insane."

"We can run away together! Please, Jotaro, don't make me do this!" You wept, struggling to keep a grip on your blade. You had a vision of the two of you making a run for it, hand in hand. You'd get new identities, get married, and run away to live together in happiness, just like that dream you'd had. Your bleeding ankle was throbbing with pain, and your kimono trailed in the wind whipping off the harbour waters, chilling you to the bone. Jotaro closed the gap between you, his icy grey eyes gazing into yours, and he kissed you very softly on the lips. And then, he looked you in the eye, and smiled that cunning, wicked smile you had grown to love.
"Would you run to the ends of the earth with me?" He asked, tracing a finger along your cheek. His fingers were warm, strong, slightly calloused, and you'd grown to know their feel on every part of your body, inside and out.
"I'd run away to the stars if we had a rocket, JoJo." You replied, gazing into his eyes. The shipping container swayed slightly in the night breeze, and Jotaro clutched your hand tightly in his as he slid Dio's katana into his sheath.
"I'm going to do something risky now, y/n, but if it succeeds, we'll both be free. We can run away, drive off into the sunset like an old American movie and live the high life."
"An old movie... I like that." You smiled, having thoughts of a new life in America, out in the west. Roadside diners and drive-in cinemas, funny little museums and curious stores on desert highways. Flat mountain dew, the soft layer of sandy desert dust on your suncream-soaked skin, frybread from a food truck, and making love on the sun loungers of a shitty motel when everyone was asleep. Cherry flavoured lube and cheap red drugstore lipstick. New names, and a new life for the both of you.

"And if we fail?" You teased.
"Either we fall to our deaths or get shot full of lead slugs. That, or a several dozen ton shipping container falls on us and kills us both. Are you in?"
Death or freedom. The pendulum could swing either way, but you knew what you wanted so dearly. Deep down you knew this was a stupid idea, but you didn't care.
Nobody could ever love you the way Jotaro Kujo could, and you feared an alternative future- sitting alone in bed as your ungrateful husband you didn't even love anymore "worked late" for the fourth time this week, and you were left home alone to wrangle the screaming kids. You didn't even care that you may never have a "normal" life, you'd get to spend it with the only man who'd ever made you feel alive. Tonight had been the most adrenaline you'd felt in your lifetime, and you wanted to spend every last minute you had with the man who made you feel this way.
"I'm in." You said.

Jotaro drew his sword, and walked around the container, making a few slashes here and there on the tethers of the cables, but not enough to cut them. He then wrapped his arm around your waist, and reached down, grabbing the sliced cable from where it trailed from the fourth corner of the unbalanced shipping container.
"What's he doing?" Rohan gasped. "Is he trying to kill himself? Hold fire! Don't let y/n get shot, he could be trying to take her with him!" Jotaro stepped back from the corner- then dashed forward, feet rattling the metal of the shipping container. He jumped off, grip tight on you as he used the cable to swing in mid air. The crane's cables were made so that they could carry up to 50 tonnes, but with one snapped and the others damaged, they weren't up for the job. There was a terrible ripping sound as one tether tore free, and the whole shipping container swung dangerously to one side. Rohan's men screamed and ran for cover as it swung towards them, you and Jotaro being thrown with it. He landed on his feet, and caught you deftly. As if by sheer dumb luck, the final cables tore on the container, and it came crashing to the ground, crushing a police truck as it did so. Rohan ducked for cover, and by the time that the cops had fumbled for their weapons, you and Jotaro were inside his car and speeding off.
"JoJo!" Kakyoin cried, watching you drive away in the shotgun seat, becoming smaller and smaller as the two of you left him behind.
